Hi Kathryn, Thanks for reporting this. We do have a backlog issue logged for this internally. I encourage you to submit this issue as a bug via Esri Support. Our Support team will assign an official bug number for your records. This number can be used to search for and subscribe to the bug on the Esri Support site. If the issue is reported by other customers it will be attached to the same bug report, which helps us assess the impact of the issue and prioritize it accordingly. Thanks,

Hi, Could you provide a simple repro case to demo the issue if you can reproduce this by creating a new survey with web designer? I did try to create a similar survey based on your description but was unable to repro the issue. If you could provide a simple repro case, that will be very helpful to narrow down the issue.

Hi Carl, Could you list the exact model number of the Samsung Galaxy tab you are using and the version of the android it's running on? And could you also try the 3.12 beta version on EAC website to see if you are still seeing the same issue with the same mobile device? Except this Samsung device, did you encounter the same issue with other mobile device?

Hi Dedgar, As you are using enterprise portal, could you double check the default geocode service setting in this portal and make sure the user you signed in to the field app has the geocode permission assigned? Is the survey public? What version of the survey123 field app is the Apple device running on? What exact error did it show on the phone when the reverse geocode failed to run?

Hi Bryan, This link to the online doc would answer your question: The answer is yes. If you do not include a geopoint, geotrace, or geoshape question in Survey123 Connect, the main feature layer for your survey will have a geometry type of esriGeometryPoint. The point location is populated with the location information available from the device at the time the survey was opened. If you do not include a map question in the Survey123 web designer, the main feature layer for your survey will have a geometry type of esriGeometryPoint. The point location for each survey response will default to 0,0.

Hi Levi, What version of the field app and Connect are you using? As the web browser looked fine, it might still be the network issue. I will suggest you to contact Esri Support to log a ticket and have them troubleshoot the connection issue you are encountering as network issue would be more complicated to troubleshoot.

Hi Levi, To connect to the portal from the field app on the mobile device, the mobile device needs to be connected to the same network which the portal is hosted. You may need to VPN to the network and conect to the portal. The connection to the portal would be your portal home URL, for example: https://machinename.esri.com/portal You could try to connect to the portal first from Survey123 Connect and add the connection to your 10.7.1 portal. If you can successfully connect to the portal from Survey123 Connect, move on to the mobile device and make sure you connect to the same network as your Desktop Survey123 Connect and give it a try.

Hi Jared, For end user to enter an address in a text filed and populate the point from the entered address on the map, we now have a beta feature to achieve this. This new feature is only available on survey123 beta web application with a geocode appearance. Please check out the "Geocode appearance in the Survey123 web app" article from our EAC website and use the beta web form to test this feature. You will see the entered address is matched to an address candidate and pull the lat and long value. You can then use the lat and long value to populate the geopoint using the calculation field concat(number(${latitude}),' ', number(${longitude})) and pass the calculation for a geopoint field.
