Hello @gls, Is your colleague submitting surveys using the Survey123 field app or the web app in a browser on the device? Since you mentioned the satellite icon it sounds like they may be using the field app. One troubleshooting suggestion would be to enable diagnostic logging in the app on a device that the behavior is occurring on and submitting a record. We may be able to see why the behavior is happening through the diagnostic log. We can take this offline but if you're willing to share the survey I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 I can test to see if I can reproduce the issue on and do some debugging. Feel free to email [email protected].

Hello @LukeDubois, Please see this documentation for more information. The issue is query is disabled on the feature service which causes an issue in the map viewer as it is unable to query the data. If you switch to the new map viewer, switch "Editors can't see any features, even those they add" to another choice, or enable Update and/or Delete on the feature service that should resolve the issue.

Hello @KieuAnhNguyen, Usually this occurs due to the spelling of the image in the XLSform and the name of the image file (ex. image1.jpg vs Image1.jpg). Since the survey was published from the web designer this shouldn't be the case. When you added the photo to the survey did you upload an image from an online resource or upload an image locally from your computer?

Hello @Yun_Len, I would suggest reaching out to Esri Technical Support to assist with troubleshooting. You can capture logs in Survey123 by navigating to Settings > Diagnostics > Enable logging. This will generate a log file that you can share with the Support analyst.

Hello @Anonymous User, If you check the Fields tab for the layer in your organization the question name in the XLSForm will need to match the field name.

Hello @Yun_Len, Would you be able to pass along your XLSForm and any relevant files for testing on our end? The slow down could be anything from the size of the survey, to calculations, how questions are being rendered in the form, or the number of choices in the choices worksheet. Seeing the XLSForm and survey will help us understand the workflow and where some bottlenecks may be.

Hello @MPach, We are currently working on a new function called pulldata("@layer") which should allow you to reach your end goal. We have the feature partially available for testing in our Early Adopter Community, please feel free to test with the functionality to see if it will work in your use case.

Hello @Jean-SebastienLauzon, With the 3.14 release of Survey123 (~March of this year) there was a significant overhaul of how expressions are run to help improve app stability. Since then we've seen a few issues that have come up due to the changes made specifically around reloading surveys from Drafts/Outbox for example especially if they have relevancy set on them. It may be possible on the records where you are seeing blank values the field user may have saved the record to Drafts or the Outbox and ran into a defect from the 3.14 change. I would suggest reaching out to Esri Technical Support and pass along your XLSForm for testing and they can confirm if you are running into one of our known issues or a new issue.

Hello @AndrewPriest, The jr:choice-name() function is the way to extract the choice label from the selected choice. You could store the label in a separate hidden question (field in the feature service), or concatenate the choice name from the select_one question and the choice label using the jr:choice-name() function in a separate question (field) to store both in the same location.

Hello @AdrianDoss, The height would be controlled by the <div> container you embedded the Survey123 webform in. If you increase the height of the CSS class assigned to your <div> tag that should increase the size of the Survey123 form.

Hello @mustafa0331, Survey123 stores it's data in a database within it's app folder, my colleague James has written a Python script that can be used to extract the data from the database into CSV files. Any attachments are stored in a folder named My Survey Attachments and can be extracted directly from the folder.

Hello @TKnutson, I would suggest checking if you can add a feature in a web map, from the log it looks like you're using an ArcGIS Enterprise feature service that's referencing a feature class coming from an Enterprise Geodatabase. Adding a record from a web map will confirm that there's no issues on the feature service / feature class side of things. Assuming features can be added from a web map I would suggest checking the field length for the "mytoken" field. The token in the applyEdits request is larger than 255 characters (default field length) which would lead to submission errors.

Hello @AndrewOldham, This is expected behavior, the same behavior would occur if you were to copy the survey without the URL parameter. The reason for this is to resolve an issue that came up in the past where if you deleted the image from the copied survey it was also removed from the original survey as both were pointing to the same attachment in the My Survey Attachments folder. Please see BUG-000110311 for reference.

Hello @ZenMasterZeke, It's not possible to set an image for the form_title, but you could create a note question at the beginning of the form that references an image in the media folder. If you are using pages you could place that note question in the first group so that it displays on the first page, or place it before the first group so that it displays across all pages.
