I agree with Mark here, as we speak of the current version of ArcGIS Pro does not support a raster layer while creating an .mmpk file. This is the reason why I asked if a .tpk would suffice your need. Refer https://community.esri.com/thread/127722 I hope this helps!. ~Shan

Manuela, You can simply use the same code mentioned in the help for Feature Class To Geodatabase—Help | ArcGIS Desktop. This should easily create all you feature classes in your target database with the same names. In case you have some non-spatial tables that also need to be moved in your target database you can use Table To Geodatabase—Help | ArcGIS Desktop Just keep in mind that you will have to add the an environment setting for the if you are using any. Refer What are configuration keywords?—ArcGIS Help | ArcGIS Desktop I hope this helps! ~Shan

Dan, Whenever we are generating a new output the ObjectID starts from 1, in that case how can we link based on ObjectID? I think it will be better to use some other field with unique values that can be used as a Primary Key for linking and retaining the records. I have recently faced this issue, hence I am also looking for a solution to this. Please let me know if I am missing something. ~Shan

Sheri, If you are creating new fields, you can use Add Field—Help | ArcGIS Desktop, you need to set the Alias Field name as a parameter so that during the creation process the model will take it as an input and generate the field with alias name. If you are updating your existing fields, you can use Alter Field—Help | ArcGIS Desktop, you need to provide the Updated Alias Name that will be reflected once the model has finished executing. From a schema creation standpoint, it is a good practice to provide alias field names while creating the field itself, however if the occasion arises for updating or altering the fields name we can use the above workflows. I hope this helps. ~Shan

Generally, whenever we use advanced symbols which are not created in ArcMap, we have them compressed to reduce the service load it helps out with the performance, additionally we have roll out all our service with all layers turned off as default and allow the user or the developer toggle (turn on/off) as per the request or requirement. If you are consuming services in some custom application you can remove all the symbols and have the developer provide the symbols when they fire queries on the layer, that will make the service even more light weight. But this will completely depend on client requirement. Luckily, the same service for us is not being consumed by some other vendor so we do not have to worry with that else we need to assign the symbols in the service. Besides this there are quite few parameters you can tweak to fine tune and improve the performance of the service. Tuning services in your ArcGIS Server site using best practices—Documentation | ArcGIS Enterprise Tuning and configuring services—Documentation | ArcGIS Enterprise Its a good read and things become more clear when you actually apply them in real time projects, I am sue you have already met these standards. ~Shan

I guess this is sort of a standard practice in most of the firms and I guess even Esri suggests to go about this. I am sure you will get more information if you were to log a case with Esri Technical Support. ~Shan
