I have a layer in a Field Maps map which has the pop-up configured to display two links to Survey123. The links are identical except for the itemid of the survey form that I want to open up. They both pass across three fields for pre-population which are set up the same way on both forms. As far as I can tell I am following the guidance in this page correctly Integrate with other apps—ArcGIS Survey123 | Documentation Clicking on the link for survey 1 results in Survey123 opening but just hanging on the Loading Survey screen. The same behaviour happens whether I have S123 open beforehand or not. I've also tried deleting the survey and downloading again in case it was device specific (which is confirmed by other users having the same issue). I'm using the URLencode function in Arcade to ensure there are no dodgy characters. arcgis-survey123://?itemID=5ec2c0f7d2834fc780255663258050fa&field:site_location=Creechbarrow%20Road&field:developer_name=Taunton%20Deane%20Borough%20Council&field:site_reference=156592 If I remove the pre-populated fields info then the survey opens fine. The fields are all strings and not used in any calculations. Clicking on the link for survey 2 works fine arcgis-survey123://?itemID=a9047ca25ef641c89b54320d70f86540&field:site_location=Creechbarrow%20Road&field:developer_name=Taunton%20Deane%20Borough%20Council&field:site_reference=156592 The behaviour sounds quite similar to some of the cases that people have posted about here Solved: Field App to Survey123 Url Scheme stopped working ... - Esri Community So it does make me think that there is something specific about the functionality of the first survey that is causing the problem? Both surveys were built with Connect v3.15.165 so I guess I should try updating to 3.17 as the next step.

Actually looks like the same behaviour with the first configured locator of your portal does work after all in Field Maps. I think it was my phone misbehaving when I first tested it but I had another go and it is now working. So one workaround option that we're considering is to have a "super" composite locator which pulls together all other locators and is set as the first one in the portal.

Hi Jake, Just trying to see if I could get an ArcGIS Enterprise locator service to be available for search in Field Maps and it seems to match up with your experience. The documentation suggests it's only about the layers configured in web map itself and I can't find any reference to configuring locators for Field maps. Quick reference—ArcGIS Field Maps | Documentation I seem to remember in the Explorer app that the first configured locator in your Portal WAS available within the app if you were signed in, although I can't seem to get that to work for me right now (Explorer no longer available in app stores anyway). Using Locator in Explorer for ArcGIS - Esri Community Would be good to hear from the Fields Maps team if there is any support planned for using locator services in an online map? Regards Gareth

I'm getting this error with a new survey published from the Connect app. It was working when the thank you form was left as default but once I tried to update it using the web designer options it now shows the [object Object] method on submission.

I'd also like to know if there is a way to stop the Survey123 app from attempting to get the location and not bring up that box.

Hi Cameron, I eventually got ESRI tech support to log this as a bug BUG-000149927 No idea when it will be resolved as it could well be too late for the 11.0 release of Enterprise. My workaround for now is to use Classic Dashboards, but then I miss out on a lot of useful functionality that the newer JSAPI 4 based version introduced.

Just discovered that all the links work fine if the story is viewed on its own but the blank page issue occurs when viewing within a collection.

Did you ever manage to get a resolution on this? I've just come across the same problem with links in the pop-up of a web map and also from one particular hard coded link in a section of StoryMap text in the sidecar. Links within a different map in the same story work fine so guess there may be subtly different with the configuration of the two maps (though that would explain why the hardcoded one isn't working). The window that opens is untitled and has and address of about:blank

I'd like to be able to restrict users to only be able to create features in an editable hosted feature service by using the copy function on a feature and its attributes from a separate, read-only layer. This is in ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.1 (which may limit what I can do in comparison to what might be available in AGOL) and I've got the copy features bit working fine. The only slight hitch is that the big blue plus button is fairly conspicuous within the interface (at least on iOS) so ideally I would like to make that disappear to avoid users pressing it and creating a non-copied record which then has empty fields in. I can't see anything obvious that would allow this and I'm assuming that setting my editable layer to not allow new features would get rid of the plus button, but then not allow me to copy the features. Does anyone know if this is possible or is it one to suggest as an idea?

@ZacharyHart @NeilMYoung Hi both, No unfortunately we didn't get to the bottom of this and decided it was too much effort to try and investigate further e.g. getting each user to manually check that the tracking fields are correct after each edit. We ended up adding a couple of additional fields to the dataset to allow the editors to manually select their name and last edit date. This is somewhat preferential to the automated tracking fields anyway in our case because if I have to do a bulk operation on the dataset then it effectively wipes all the real editors' tracking info and replaces with mine.

At the ESRI UK conference in May this year one of the speakers mentioned that the smart form capabilities for a map would be available to make use of in Experience Builder at some point. I have no idea of the timescales of this but perhaps someone from ESRI can provide more details?

Not sure if this is a bug but thought I'd see if anyone else is experiencing it before raising a support ticket. I've created a dashboard in Enterprise 10.9.1 which contains a map with a simple point feature layer (from a hosted feature service). I also have a list element (based on the same point layer) in the dashboard which is filtered by the user making a selection on the point layer on the map which works as expected until...... Image shows point selected and list filtered correctly ...the map is panned a reasonable distance away from the selected point and the selection is removed from both the list and the box that appears next to the select tool showing how many records are selected. The point feature that I had selected still remains highlighted on the map though. From a little bit of experimenting it seems like the selection fails once I've panned the map horizontally about a full map window's width away from where I started, irrespective of what scale the map is at. I thought it might have something to do with the Render Only When Filtered setting for the list but I still get the same result whether that is applied or not. Image shows map after panning away and back again, selection is lost (despite highlight) and list unfiltered.
