Hello @MichalKoren , At the minute, the legend can only be placed in the lower left hand corner of the map. If you would like to immediately customize that legend location further, I would recommend embedding a web application like ArcGIS Web Appbuilder to choose the location of that legend. I'd also suggest posting on our ArcGIS Ideas page to suggest adding a custom legend location option to ArcGIS StoryMaps in the future. Thank you, Abby

Hello @WillCorbett23 , The initial zoom extent setting applies to the zoom set when clicking on the individual points. The zoom extent for the entire map is not something that can currently be set. It is instead based on the calculated set of all tour points. This is a great suggestion for an enhancement in the future, which I would recommend bringing up on the ArcGIS Ideas page. Best, Abby

Hello @RyanMarkwart , Customizing a maps legend to allow the user to change the filtering of the data on-demand would be best suited for an embedded Web AppBuilder, Instant App, or Experience Builder application. These applications are included with most ArcGIS organization accounts, and sometimes license to these apps need to be assigned by your organization's administrator. The ability to embed an application is easy, you just use the Embed feature in StoryMaps, and paste in the link to that application. However, you will need to have access to an ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS account that gives you access to one of these other applications that you can create externally, and embed into your story. Here is some documentation on filtering and sorting with Web AppBuilder and Experience Builder (and a tutorial for getting started). Let me know if you have further questions. Abby

Hello @TxNPrograms I am still seeing ArcGIS StoryMaps loading successfully in Firefox. Could you give a bit more detail on the exact screen you're seeing (if it is a white blank screen, or an error message), and when this issue began happening for you? I would also be curious to see if the behavior changes when clearing your browser cache and reloading the site. Thank you, Abby

Hello @LeonDavis , What version is your ArcGIS Enterprise Portal? ArcGIS StoryMaps in ArcGIS Online is on a different feature release schedule than ArcGIS Enterprise. This documentation is a good place to check what features have made it into your version of ArcGIS Enterprise. As you mentioned, the sidecar headers that can be used as navigation headings was added in the December 2, 2020 release of ArcGIS StoryMaps, seen here in the Release Notes. Additionally, this feature has made it to ArcGIS Enterprise Portal versions 10.9 and later. If you are at Portal 10.9 or later and are not seeing this functionality, please reply here with details on your environment and a screenshot of the behavior, if possible. Let me know if you have further questions on this. Abby

Hi @RahulSagar , I'm sorry to hear your basemap isn't appearing. Could you send a link to the story so we can see the issue in action? Are you able to add this basemap in other stories or web maps? I'm curious if this is an issue with the source basemap if all other components of the story are still loading as expected. Abby

Hi @AlbertoVillarrubia , could you reply with your linked Web AppBuilder app for context? The original post seemed to have gotten removed when moving this post. Thank you! Abby

@AlbertoVillarrubia In that case, I'm going to move this topic over to the ArcGIS Web AppBuilder Questions page to get some input from that group on potential solutions. Thanks, Abby

Hi @AlbertoVillarrubia , Are you looking to recreate the Web AppBuilder app linked above in StoryMaps, or are you looking to add Google Analytics to the existing Web AppBuilder app page above, without moving the content to a new web app? Thanks, Abby

Hello @GiuliaMattion , Taking a look at the title of this application, there's a " " in the title. This can be used when editing HTML to force a break in a place where forced breaks are otherwise not allowed. This is causing this title to go below all the others, because it looks like the title is technically after the others (i.e. "on  Agrilus auroguttatus" would come after "on Xylella fastidiosa" because of the ending of "on"). I'm not sure who designed this story, but have them take a look at their CSS to see if they added this "%nbsp" into their story title. Here's some more information on this concept if you're curious: HTML Space – How to Add a Non-breaking Space with the Character Entity Best, Abby

Hi @chgarfin , If you are still seeing the story item appear in your content, but are unable to open it in the builder, you can try to recover the story by following the steps in this post. If you are not seeing the item appear in your StoryMaps home page, then that item may have been accidentally deleted and is unrecoverable. To explore either of these options further, and if you are certain this item was not accidentally deleted, you can reach out to Esri Technical Support to open a case and request assistance troubleshooting this. Best, Abby

Hello @ViDi , There is not a way to alter the masking levels on the Full cover layout. If you want to remove that effect on the photo altogether, I would recommend trying out the Side-by-side or Minimal cover designs. If having the title on top of your image in the cover is a priority, I'd suggest you add a post to our ArcGIS StoryMaps Ideas page recommending customizable masking on the full cover for future releases. Best, Abby

Hi @ACICACIC , If you are editing an existing point, searching for an address will navigate your map to that location, but it will not change the existing point. The easiest way to alter that point without having to drag and drop the existing point is to click on the existing point on the map, and select the trash icon to delete the existing point. This way, when you search an address and zoom to that location, you can click the Add to Map button to add the point in the exact searched location. Let me know if you have further questions here. Best, Abby
