Hi Alex, Yes this is possible, but we do recommend you keep your Enterprise and Event Editor versions in alignment whenever possible. New functionality and bug fixes can be made in both Enterprise (via REST) or within Event Editor, so keeping them in alignment ensures you don't see functionality that doesn't work as expected. Hi Jonathan, Did you use the exact same mxd (same layers in the same order in the table of contents) when you ran and published the GP tool as well as when you published the service to used for the webmap? If you didn't, that could be the cause of the issue you're seeing. We require the same map to be used for publishing the service and running/publishing the GP tool so they match layerIDs when you execute the GP tool to produce your reports in the app. Nathan ArcGIS Roads and Highways team

Hi Mirko, What you're describing above is how dynamic segmentation works and is not a bug. Think of dynamic segmentation as a process where you overlay multiple event layers on top of each other, then split them into the largest segments that have the same attributes. As you described above, if you have event records from different event layers, but they have the same From Measure, To Measure, From Date, and To Date, then they would output a single record in a dynamic segmentation because they overlap spatially and none of the attributes change throughout the length of the segment. Hi Mirko, If you want to understand dynamic segmentation a bit better, you can take a look at this document that a colleague at Esri produced a few years ago https://www.esri.com/news/arcuser/1002/files/dynseg_2.pdf. You can disregard second half of the document where it highlights tools in ArcMap 8.2, but the introduction of the document explains (with diagrams) dynamic segmentation pretty well. Yes you could do that, but I'd recommend also looking at whether you need a calibration point at each vertex. Adding a few strategic calibration points along a route can help narrow down the interpolation, especially if you can determine where the Ms on your source route diverge from the interpolated measures and geometric length of the poyline that Roads and Highways utilizes. Hi Cameron, Roads and Highways will interpolate and populate M values on your routes based on the nearest upstream and downstream calibration points. Depending on how many and where you placed the calibration points (or equivalent) in your previous linear referencing solution, the interpolation could be different in Roads and Highways if the calibration points are in different locations or have different measures. If you find the M values at specific locations have changed from what you expect, you can add calibration points at those locations to "lock in" a specific measure at a specific location along a route. Hi Brian, Yes that should ready editor tracking. Those 3 tables don't need editor tracking or global IDs as part of the migration. Nathan ArcGIS Roads and Highways team

ArcGIS Pro 2.9 and ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.1 are now available. For users planning to migrate their Roads and Highways environment from ArcMap to ArcGIS Pro, the attached migration white paper outlines the steps to migrate successfully. There are also two python scripts that assist with the migration effort. You can find these tools at https://github.com/Esri/lrs-migration-toolset.

Hi Cameron, As Ryan mentioned above, the software will let you create routes with routeIDs that have existed in the past. There are some additional checks built into the software to prevent situations like creating a route with a routeID that current existing in the same time range and other scenarios that would break uniqueness for each route in any given time period. If you're interested in putting together some additional checks beyond the basic scenarios that software prevents, I'd recommend looking into authoring some data reviewer checks to prevent any type of scenarios that your business rules wouldn't support. Hi Colin, I'd recommend opening a case with Esri Technical Support. They can work with you to get the lock removed since it's associated with an LRS event that doesn't exist with the same name any longer. Nathan ArcGIS Roads and Highways team
