Hi @EMiller_2 I'd echo @AyanPalit's comments above. You'll need Portal as part of your deployment in order to utilize Roads and Highways. I'll also note that for version 10.9 and later, you'll need to utilize ArcGIS Pro to publish (and consume services). If you're still utilizing the ArcMap, the latest version of Enterprise you can move to and still take advantage of the Linear Referencing capabilities is 10.8.1/10.8.2. Hi @LAKDRedaktorius, as Ayan mentioned above, we only show the recalibrate downstream option for line networks. We've excluded the option from continuous measure networks as there would always be a non-monotonic route scenario if the route wasn't recalibrated downstream. For the scenario you outlined, you could utilize the Edit Calibration Point tool to make any changes to downstream calibration points after the extend operation completes to ensure measures align between the two dual carriage way routes.

Hi Graeme, At Pro 3.0.x you would need to retire the existing event then add the new event (either via the attribute table, create feature tool, or add event tools on the Location Referencing ribbon). At Pro 3.1, we plan to include an option to "Retire Overlaps" in the Add Line Event tools that would automatically retire the existing event when you add the new event. Hi Graeme, This is a limitation within ArcGIS Pro. We've made the decision to remove the link to the help all together to prevent any confusion for our users moving forward. You'll see this change reflected in Pro 3.1. Nathan ArcGIS Roads and Highways team

Enclosed is the document for Roads and Highways migration from ArcMap to ArcGIS Pro 3.0. There are a few minor updates from the 2.9 version of the document and some additional context added to a few steps based on feedback. We encourage Roads and Highways users to consider Pro 3.0, once Enterprise 11.0 releases next month, as there are a variety of new capabilities and tools including event editing within Pro.

Hi Graeme, I'd suggest taking a look at the documentation topic we have about tolerance resolution settings for your LRS feature classes https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/production/roads-highways/tolerance-and-resolution-settings-for-the-lrs.htm. The short version is that all of the minimum schema, networks, and events are interconnected so having the same XYZ tolerances/resolutions is critical. This includes your source route data used in Append Routes having the same XYZM tolerance/resolution as the LRS Network it's being loaded into. I'd verify your XYZM tolerance and resolutions between your source data and LRS Network match. If they don't, they'll need to be in alignment in order for the Append Routes tool to execute successfully. Nathan ArcGIS Roads and Highways team

Hi Graeme, Yes, Roads and Highways has been certified in ArcGIS Pro 3.0 and has many new features including event editing in Pro. However, Roads and Highways is a service based extension which means you'd want to upgrade your Enterprise environment to stay in alignment with Pro. Pro 3.0's release companion is Enterprise 11.0, which should release sometime in the middle of next month. I'd recommend holding off on any Roads and Highways Pro upgrade to 3.0 until you're able to upgrade Enterprise to 11.0 to keep the functionality in alignment. Nathan ArcGIS Roads and Highways team

Hi Graeme, I'd suggest taking a look at the documentation for Roads and Highways as it walks through configuration as well as the common editing workflows.https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/production/roads-highways/what-is-roads-and-highways.htm One thing to be aware of is Roads and Highways is powered by services, so you won't be able to utilize many of the route and other editing tools on our ribbon without having a service published from an enterprise geodatabase. Linear Referencing support was added to ArcGIS Field Maps in their March 2022 release. Check out this blog post from their product lead, Jeff Shaner, that discusses the new functionality and some of the additional capabilities they're looking to build in the future. https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/field-maps/field-mobility/linear-referencing-comes-to-arcgis-field-maps/
