Hi Ron, I don't think you'd need a redline for this scenario. You could take a copy of the existing events out into the field and update the attributes. You would need to reconcile your changes with the existing events when back in the office. One other consideration is whether Conflict Prevention is being used. If you're using Conflict Prevention, you would want to consider locking the routes where you'd be making event attribute changes to ensure the routes/measures of the events don't change while getting updated attributes in the field. Hi Ron, Can you explain what you mean when you say attribute update? Will you just update attributes about event data or will you also update LRS attributes like the measures? I'd echo Ryan's suggestion from above and reach out to the RHUG group on GeoNet for any suggestions. Nathan Esri Roads and Highways Team

Hi Andrew, I'll echo what Erin and Kyle mentioned above. Between 10.6.1 and 10.7.1, we've added new functionality to Event Editor and improved product quality through bug fixes in Roads and Highways Desktop and Server. That's not to mention additional functionality and bug fixes made throughout ArcMap and ArcGIS Enterprise from all the other teams at Esri. If you can, go with 10.7.1. You'll need to right click the blob field to see the actual measure information that was recorded for the edit.

I would search by RouteID first to narrow down the records, then find the one with the date that matches the time slice you're seeing.

It might make sense to take a look at the edit log record for this edit to see exactly what was recorded from a measure standpoint.

Hi Nicole, Do you mean a non-monotonic route was created or did you get a monotonic route with incorrect measures?

Yes that's correct. The option to branch version data only appears in ArcGIS Pro. In order to make Roads and Highways edits (Create, Extend, Realign, etc.) in ArcGIS Pro, you'll need a service with branch versioned data, and the linear referencing/version management capabilities enabled, that was publishing using ArcGIS Pro.

Hi Nicole, It could be a few things causing that error message to appear. Since it's only occurring on two routes and not others, it could be data specific. I would suggest logging a case with Esri Support and they can work to troubleshoot with you to figure out the cause and how to fix it. Nathan Esri Roads and Highways team

Hi Ryan, There shouldn't be a difference in results when running the tool in these two contexts as the same Remove Duplicate Centerline Geometry operation is being executed in each case. Unfortunately in ArcMap there isn't a way to choose the centerline features/area/selection set to run the tool against. In ArcGIS Pro, we've made this tool a geoprocessing tool which allows for selection sets and a greater level of control over which features the tool runs against. Nathan Esri Roads and Highways team
