Hi Pablo, Do either of your centerlines self-intersect? Are you trying to add the second route onto a line that includes the first route? Are you selecting one or both centerlines when trying to create the second route? Hi Ana, I'd echo what Kyle mentioned before. Can you make sure all the networks from your LRS are published in the service being used by Event Editor? Hi Ana, The bug you referenced above actually isn't a bug. When our team investigated the issue, we found the following. Event Editor receives the symbology and grouping from the map service as it's rendered by ArcGIS Server and isn't able to override it at all. I'm happy to get you in contact with the ArcGIS Server team if you'd like to request they make changes to the map service renderer to support grouping. Nathan Esri Roads and Highways team

Hi Everyone, Registration for the Roads and Highways holistic testing in November is now live. See the information below to register for the event. Greetings from Redlands! Please join us on Tuesday, November 5th through Wednesday, November 6th for a Roads and Highways holistic test event using ArcGIS Pro 2.5 at Esri Headquarters in Redlands, California. ArcGIS Pro in 2019 is a professional, high-performance, high-productivity GIS Workstation. Users transitioning from ArcMap will see that their familiar GIS functionality is available in ArcGIS Pro with better performance and usability. New users to ArcGIS will find in ArcGIS Pro a complete standalone 2D/3D desktop GIS, and a premium App for advanced visualization, analysis, and sharing across the ArcGIS Platform. Roads and Highways in ArcGIS Pro provides familiar tools to complete LRS editing workflows such as creating, realigning, reassigning, and calibrating routes. In addition, new capabilities like the Locate Route and Measure tool, and an enhanced centerline selection tool, will be available to Roads and Highways in ArcGIS Pro users. Additionally, services published using ArcGIS Pro support new capabilities within web applications, like Event Editor, including undo/redo capabilities. Can you confirm the events that don't appear in event editor are in fact registered as events in the same LRS as the events that do appear? 2. Hi Satyam, Once you identify any QC issues with your events, you can find those events that need changes via the search tools (https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/roads-highways/latest/event-editor/select-events-by-route.htm, https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/roads-highways/latest/event-editor/selecting-events-and-routes-by-attribute.htm, https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/roads-highways/latest/event-editor/selecting-events-and-routes-by-geometry.htm). Hi Amelia, Thanks for the additional information about related workflows. The Apply Edits REST endpoint that is used in Add Linear Events and when updating events in the event attribute table is only able to merge with one adjacent event currently (not both like in the case you mentioned originally). We could add support to merge with all adjacent events, however, the downside to adding this support is performance of the endpoint will be slowed down. Because this endpoint is utilized for the majority of operations in Event Editor, the performance impact would be seen throughout, even if there is no merging that would take place. We're open to making this change to the endpoint, however, the trade off would be decreased performance throughout the application. As I mentioned, the Merge Events widget can be used to merge adjacent events, either in place of Add Linear Events/event attribute table editing, or as a step after using those tools. I'm happy to discuss this point at the next RHUG meeting to get an idea of the rest of the communities thoughts about whether the trade off in performance is worth adding this support. Hi Amelia, For workflows like these where you'd like to merge more than 2 events, you should use the merge events widget in Event Editor (https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/roads-highways/latest/event-editor/merging-events.htm). It will allow you to change attributes and merge more 2 or more adjacent events together in one operation. Nathan Esri Roads and Highways team
