Hi Ihab, It sounds like your basemap isn't displaying correctly with Event Editor. If that's the case, the error for ConvertCADtoFeatureDataset most likely isn't the cause. I would suggest opening up a case with Esri Technical Support to have them troubleshoot the issue with you. Nathan Esri Roads and Highways team

Hi Maja, I would suggest opening a case with Esri Technical Support for this issue. When you log the issue, make sure they know it's for Roads and Highways and the Event Editor application. Nathan Esri Roads and Highways team

Hi Colin, What's the M tolerance for your network feature class? If the distance between the centerline and network features is less than the M tolerance, ArcGIS and Roads and Highways consider them to be coincident and in the same location. This is why LRM to LRM and other tools will still work as expected. If the distance between the centerline and network features is greater than the M tolerance, you can run the Generate Routes tool to rebuild the route shapes to align with the centerline they're built from. Hi James, Yes you need to federate your server with portal in order to deploy correctly. See this topic for more information Configuring security in the Event Editor—Event Editor for Roads and Highways | ArcGIS Enterprise. Nathan Esri Roads and Highways team

Hi Everyone, We're beginning to work on support for editing complex route shapes within Roads and Highways and want to make sure we cover the editing scenarios you'll have with these types of routes in your data. What we're asking is for you to provide us examples of the edits you've made in the past and expect to make in the future to complex route shapes. This includes routes like loops, lollipops (cul de sacs), alpha (self intersecting), branch, barbell, and other complex route shapes. Please include in your examples what type of route, what type of edit, and where on the route is impacted (for example, do you edit the loop portion of a lollipop or just the stick portion). You can reply to this post or if you'd prefer email me your examples (neasley@esri.com). Thanks in advance for providing these examples to assist us with supporting these types of routes in the software. Nathan Esri Roads and Highways Team

Hi James, Is there a reason you can't share the service with everyone in the organization? This would allow the service to not be public (and eliminate the anonymous web user issue), but still ensure users in all groups in your organization can access it. Nathan Esri Roads and Highways team

Hi Pablo, Do either of your centerlines self-intersect? Are you trying to add the second route onto a line that includes the first route? Are you selecting one or both centerlines when trying to create the second route? If you can give me a little more information on the edit being made, we can determine why the edit isn't going through. Thanks, Nathan Esri Pipeline Referencing team

Hi Ana, I'd echo what Kyle mentioned before. Can you make sure all the networks from your LRS are published in the service being used by Event Editor? If they are all present and you still experience this error, I would suggest opening a case with Esri Technical Support to investigate further. Nathan Esri Roads and Highways team

Hi Colin, The scenario you're describing would be an event behavior we added to Roads and Highways at 10.6 called Cover. See this page for more information: http://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/latest/extensions/roads-and-highways/scenarios-of-the-cover-event-behavior-for-realigning-a-route.htm Nathan Esri Roads and Highways team

Hi Ana, The bug you referenced above actually isn't a bug. When our team investigated the issue, we found the following. Event Editor receives the symbology and grouping from the map service as it's rendered by ArcGIS Server and isn't able to override it at all. I'm happy to get you in contact with the ArcGIS Server team if you'd like to request they make changes to the map service renderer to support grouping. Nathan Esri Roads and Highways team

Hi Ana, The best course of action would be to open a support case with Esri Support for this issue. The analyst can get into the details needed to determine exactly what it going on with the symbology in Event Editor for your map. Nathan Esri Roads and Highways team

Hi Everyone, Registration for the Roads and Highways holistic testing in November is now live. See the information below to register for the event. Greetings from Redlands! Please join us on Tuesday, November 5th through Wednesday, November 6th for a Roads and Highways holistic test event using ArcGIS Pro 2.5 at Esri Headquarters in Redlands, California. ArcGIS Pro in 2019 is a professional, high-performance, high-productivity GIS Workstation. Users transitioning from ArcMap will see that their familiar GIS functionality is available in ArcGIS Pro with better performance and usability. New users to ArcGIS will find in ArcGIS Pro a complete standalone 2D/3D desktop GIS, and a premium App for advanced visualization, analysis, and sharing across the ArcGIS Platform. Roads and Highways in ArcGIS Pro provides familiar tools to complete LRS editing workflows such as creating, realigning, reassigning, and calibrating routes. In addition, new capabilities like the Locate Route and Measure tool, and an enhanced centerline selection tool, will be available to Roads and Highways in ArcGIS Pro users. Additionally, services published using ArcGIS Pro support new capabilities within web applications, like Event Editor, including undo/redo capabilities. For this session, we are looking for LRS editors with familiarity using Roads and Highways in ArcMap as well as LRS/GIS managers and administrators who lead organizations familiar with Roads and Highways in a production environment. While much of the testing will be from a set of prepared exercises, participants are encouraged to bring their own established organizational workflows, processes, and methods to exercise during exploratory testing time provided in the session. Testing machines, databases, data, and workflows will be provided for all participants. There is no need to bring your own data to the session. We are expecting that you will provide critical feedback on current Roads and Highways capabilities and features in ArcGIS Pro, as well as any functional gaps, and on the comparative user experience between Roads and Highways in ArcGIS Pro 2.5 and ArcMap. This event will take place at the Esri-Redlands Office, 380 New York St Redlands, CA 92373, on Tuesday, November 5th through Wednesday, November 6th from 8:30AM to 5PM daily. Remote attendance is not being offered for this session, on-site attendance only. Due to the limited number of seats available for this event, we ask that any organization attending send a maximum of two participants from their organization. Please RSVP by Friday, September 27th. If you are interested in participating, please RSVP to: HolisticTesting@esri.com Thank You, Holistic Testing Team Software Products, Esri Inc
