Yes that's correct. The option to branch version data only appears in ArcGIS Pro. In order to make Roads and Highways edits (Create, Extend, Realign, etc.) in ArcGIS Pro, you'll need a service with branch versioned data, and the linear referencing/version management capabilities enabled, that was publishing using ArcGIS Pro.

Hi Nicole, It could be a few things causing that error message to appear. Since it's only occurring on two routes and not others, it could be data specific. I would suggest logging a case with Esri Support and they can work to troubleshoot with you to figure out the cause and how to fix it. Nathan Esri Roads and Highways team

Hi Ryan, There shouldn't be a difference in results when running the tool in these two contexts as the same Remove Duplicate Centerline Geometry operation is being executed in each case. Unfortunately in ArcMap there isn't a way to choose the centerline features/area/selection set to run the tool against. In ArcGIS Pro, we've made this tool a geoprocessing tool which allows for selection sets and a greater level of control over which features the tool runs against. Nathan Esri Roads and Highways team

Hi Ihab, It sounds like your basemap isn't displaying correctly with Event Editor. If that's the case, the error for ConvertCADtoFeatureDataset most likely isn't the cause. Hi Colin, What's the M tolerance for your network feature class? If the distance between the centerline and network features is less than the M tolerance, ArcGIS and Roads and Highways consider them to be coincident and in the same location. This is why LRM to LRM and other tools will still work as expected. If the distance between the centerline and network features is greater than the M tolerance, you can run the Generate Routes tool to rebuild the route shapes to align with the centerline they're built from. Hi Everyone, We're beginning to work on support for editing complex route shapes within Roads and Highways and want to make sure we cover the editing scenarios you'll have with these types of routes in your data. What we're asking is for you to provide us examples of the edits you've made in the past and expect to make in the future to complex route shapes. This includes routes like loops, lollipops (cul de sacs), alpha (self intersecting), branch, barbell, and other complex route shapes. Please include in your examples what type of route, what type of edit, and where on the route is impacted (for example, do you edit the loop portion of a lollipop or just the stick portion). You can reply to this post or if you'd prefer email me your examples (neasley@esri.com).
