Hi Melany, As Ryan mentioned in his post, one method to support these types of route shapes in ArcMap is to create a gap where the self-intersection point is. Another method is to take one of the parts of the self intersection and model it with a different routeID (so no one route has this complex shape any longer). Note that these shape types are fully supported in Roads and Highways in ArcGIS Pro. Nathan ArcGIS Roads and Highways team

Hi Sergio, Yes that's correct. We suggest one LRS with multiple different networks like in your reply. The only features that would be shared between those networks would be the centerlines. There would be a single calibration point feature class for the LRS, however, the NetworkID is a field in the calibration point feature class and is used to determine which network each calibration point is associated with. The LRS expects that there is only one data owner who would create the LRS along with any networks, events, and intersections that would be part of the LRS. You can give other users the ability to manage/modify those networks and other feature classes, but they need to all have the same data owner. Nathan ArcGIS Roads and Highways team

Hi Sergio, Amit is correct that you won't be able to create a second LRS if the first one was created by a different user. I'll also mention that whoever is going to be the data owner for the geodatabase should be the user that creates the LRS as that user will need to be connected when publishing LRS enabled services. Is there a reason you'd like to create a second LRS in the geodatabase? Typically users create multiple LRS Networks, but have a single LRS in their geodatabase. Thanks, Nathan ArcGIS Roads and Highways team

Hi Aaron, Are you only seeing this for cartographic realignment edits? If so, that's expected if the centerline that was edited had a route(s) impacted in both networks. Cartographic realignments will make changes to all routes that the centerline being edited is a part of across all time. Nathan ArcGIS Roads and Highways team
