I am creating some web maps for specific editing tasks to be done in ArcGIS Web Editor. The user just needs to select a point, update a couple fields, and optionally add record a repair in a related table. There are a couple additional layers in the map that are not editable, but are useful for the user to have as reference. It would be nice if I could configure the map, so that by default the editable layer was selectable and the others were not. This would simplify the editing experience for the end user and reinforce the workflow that I am trying to implement. Leon

It would be great if I could use a URL parameters with the Public Notification Instant App. I would like pass along a feature id (like a parcel identifier) and buffer distance to open the app with the feature selected, buffered, and the intersecting features from my input layer selected. A vast majority of our users are doing the same repetitive task buffering a parcel by a fixed distance to find the abutting land owners. I would like to be able to streamline the process by launching the Public Notification app from our primary GIS application, passing along the selected parcel id and appropriate buffer distance. Yes, it would be nice to configure this and some of the other settings as defaults. I would like to be able to set the default Input Layer. The default values seems to be based on alphabetical order of the layers.

Hello, You should find it by opening the Project menu and then click Portals from the options on the left. There is a check box for "Sign in using browser" (I am running version 3.1.7) Leon

I wouldn't have guessed this from the name, but it looks like "Layer files" are the files that are used (or could be used) to create published Layers in AGOL. (Feature layers, Tile layers, etc.) For me, I end up with mostly File Geodatabases or Service Definition files that were created when publishing from Pro. Also a few Excel files and tile packages. I couldn't find much in the way of documentation though. Leon

I am running into this same issue as of 7/30/24. It started while I out of the office, so I am not sure what could have caused the problem. Fortunately, I server reboot resolved the issue. I had tried changing the schedule, but that didn't seem to anything. I also tried switching the sync settings of the workspace from scheduled to immediate sync and then back again....also no effect.

Agreed. I can configure a Web App Builder application to allow enabling/disabling of pop-ups by the users. I would like to configure the same functionality in an Experience Builder Map Layers widget

Hi Kelly, I think I am having this same issue with the Zone Lookup. I am trying to replace an existing implementation of the Information Lookup with Zone Lookup Instant app. In the Information Lookup app, if search on an address it will zoom and center to the location. In the zone lookup, it seems that it centers on the zone at some set zoom level. The address I searched for may not even appear on the screen. I would like it to center on the search result at a zoom level that I can define. Is there a configuration of the zone lookup app that would support this? The feature layer ending in "_results" is a data view that points back to the other feature layer and has limited privileges for those you want to share the results of the survey with From the ArcGIS Survey123 Resources page: The What data can viewers see options allow you to choose whether viewers can see all records submitted to the survey or only their own submissions. The default is to allow viewers to see all records. ... Saving the settings in the Share results section creates a hosted feature layer view named SurveyName_results (previously named SurveyName_stakeholder), which controls access to the survey's results. You can use this hosted feature layer view in other view-only applications such as ArcGIS StoryMaps.

Related to this UI issue for enumerated domains, the UI for metadata errors messages that are returned in the Fields section within FGDC metadata editor are not easy to work with. This is especially true if you have a large number of fields and/or enumerated domains. Only four errors fit on the screen at one time; any more than four errors and you have to navigate with the tiny little scroll bar that appears on the right. Also, it is not possible to tell which field each error message is associated with so the feedback could be more helpful. At times, I have resorted to exporting the metadata to find errors and make edits using a basic text editor and then imported in the updated metadata.

Hi @KoryKramer, Thank you for reaching out. Here is a screenshot of my "Database Administration" project. The project layout is essentially the Contents pane open on the left, Catalog view in the middle, and other relevant panes on the right (Geoprocessing, Manage Replicas). The series docked panes on the right can get cluttered, when I switch from a project for map making or editing data. I am often closing panes, as a find they are getting in my way. Only to toggle them back open on when I switch to a different type of task. Leon

Are other still having this issue? I'm running Pro 2.9.6 and also showing the error "at least one type of attribute domain is required" in the Fields section after entering a domain for each field in my FGDC metadata. Leon
