Previously the default extent on the map when you viewed a dataset on our open data site seemed to work without issue, the extent was appropriate for each dataset. Now we have a zoomed out globe on everything.. we have switched data sources recently but this was an issue before that change. I've been trying to find out where its set but can't find the answer, was hoping it was in the item in AGOL but they all zoom to the right place without any issue so its obviously not that. Example here. Thanks Anne

Adrian, Not yet other than to get one of our developers to create a map from scratch using the Javascript API. I think we're going to stick with the billboard theme in Web App Builder for most maps but where we want a really simple map with always on legend I'll have to ask our developers to help. Maybe one day there'll be a widget for this. Anne

Other than the jewelry box theme template, is there any other way of configuring a web app with the legend always visible? I have a simple map with only one layer with simple symbology in it, I need to show the legend all the time, so people don't have to click on a widget to get the legend up... the jewelry box theme has half the map taken up with the legend which is too much when there's only one item in it and I can't see a way to resize it. What i need is a legend that sizes dynamically according to the number of layers in the map and is always visible in a corner of the map out of the way. Is this possible? Thanks Anne

It would be helpful to have access to more information on the usage of story maps to allow users to compare their different story maps and count the number of views in user defined periods and rank story maps over specific periods to see which is the most popular.

I would just like the choice for a web map to update or remain static when new layers are added to services they use. We have the issue that whenever we add to our web services the new layers end up in existing maps and they mostly don't need to be there. We have to then untick the new layer from any web maps and web map apps which use the layer which can be incredibly time consuming - plus you have live public web maps with random layers in them all of a sudden which isn't ideal.

The UK Data loader is great for preparing Ordnance Survey Highways Network data. But it doesn't currently have the ability to deal with Change Only Updates. We generally prefer to take our data in change only format from OS so it would be great if the tool could deal with COUs. Thanks Anne

We'd also like the option to add a line but maybe not always the average - we might want to set a line showing the allowable limit of air pollution for example against air quality data.

Is there a way of importing GEMINI 2.2 metadata into new datasets? I'm having to create them from scratch at the moment as the productivity tools menu only seems to have options to edit or export in that format, no import and the standard out of the box import doesnt have a Gemini 2.2 option. Any ideas? We're using Prod Suite v 3.4 with ArcGIS 10.2.1.

I have a load of existing services we use for Local View maps.. we'd like to reuse them in ESRI for Office but when I add a service I can only see one featureclass from the service. Our services tend to have 20-30 featureclasses in them, otherwise we'd have literally hundreds of services which would be unworkable. Is there something I'm missing in the set up? Should I be able to see multiple featureclasses in the service when used in Excel?

That seems a little strange for the market leading GIS company to be behind on international standards in their core product. There's no budget for buying extra tools in local government at the moment so we won't be buying ArcGIS for INSPIRE unfortunately. Just seems a shame that we made a huge investment in ArcGIS server and still finding that we're lacking important capabilities.

We don't have the ArcGIS for INSPIRE extension but we do have the UK Productivity Suite extension which allows us to create GEMINI standard metadata. I'm hoping we can also publish INSPIRE standard WMS and WFS services without having to buy the INSPIRE extension as we already have the capability in ArcGIS Server to publish WFS 1.0... we just need the 2.0 standard to be adopted in the core product.
