Can multiple tile packages be used to create a single hosted tile layer?

Does anyone know if I can combine multiple tile packages into a single hosted tile layer? My tile cache is larger than 500 Gb (ArcGIS Online upload limit) when exported to a tile package (.tpkx), so I tried exporting specific scales to multiple tile packages. Can they be "re-assembled" after I share them to ArcGIS Online?

@Mike and @AnneTetley , is the solution above still the best approach today?  I have generated multipart cache for a large area of aerial photography for all 23 levels.

I'm not aware of any other options atm.

I've actually found a different solution that is working better for me. I'm storing all my tiles as cloud stores in AWS S3 and publishing them to Portal. Here's the ESRI blog post that led me to this. Performance has been great so far.
