@CordulaGöke - As I stated in my reply it appears that you are running into 2 issues: (1) the TOC/legend is not showing changes you make in the Symbology pane and (2) when you export a layout the legend in the exported file does not match what you see in the layout view. You have found a work around to issue (2) by using ArcPy to export.   Please let me know if I have misunderstood your posts. Unfortunately, given the current information I have to work with, I cannot reproduce either issue with my own steps/data. Reproducible steps to recreate the problem are needed in order for the programmer to debug the code and come up with a solution. Seeing a problem posted on Community is not enough. We have to be able to reproduce the problem. Otherwise, we are just guessing. Community is not a bug tracking system. Sometimes an issue reported on Community is easy to reproduce and an internal bug can be logged. However, many issues require a better and deeper understanding of the details involved in the issue (what are the steps taken before encountering the issue, what is the data being used, what renderer is being used for the layer, is there scale dependencies involved, etc... there can be many variables).  I'm sorry that you have had a frustrating experience with support, but they are better equipped to process bugs and I would encourage you to contact them concerning these issues. Hi @CordulaGöke  I'm glad you found a workaround. It looks like you are seeing multiple issues. First, you state that after you changed the symbology labels you only saw part of the change in the TOC (Contents pane) and in the legend (on the layout). This indicates a possible problem between the symbolizer (renderer) and the Contents pane and not with the legend - that is the legend is just inheriting the problem. I'm not aware of any outstanding issue like this and would need more information. Can you contact Esri Support? They are better equipped to handle troubleshooting steps and gather bug data. Lastly, it looks like you are running into an export issue where the exported legend does not match the legend visible in the layout view on screen. This class of issue is well known. In order not to "freeze" ArcGIS Pro during an export a temporary copy of the layout is created on the fly. We have found that in some cases information gets dropped in the copying process. Exporting via ArcPy works around this issue. I tried to reproduce the exporting issue you describe by making some changes in the Symbology pane. Unfortunately, I was unable to reproduce the problem. Hi Zachary,  I'm unaware of any outstanding issues with a map frame being unable to draw a map that is clipped. I did a quick test on Pro 3.2.1 and was able to clip a basemap layer to the outline of California. As you can see the map frame (on the right) shows the clipped map just as it is in the map view (on the left). @BarryNorthey provides a good suggestion to make sure that the extent of the map frame includes the clipped area.  Another thing you can do is to exclude one of the base layers (such as a basemap layer) to use as reference in order to make sure your map frame extent is correct. You may be running into a legitimate bug, but we would need specific steps/data to reproduce what you're seeing.  If you think this is a bug can you contact Esri Support? Hi @lpainchaud ,  Currently I'm not aware of any performance issues concerning export to PDF. We have many "simple" and more complex layouts that get exported to PDF in our automated test harness on a daily basis. No performance issues have been identified. Of course our test projects only cover a portion of all the  possible combinations that go into an ArcGIS Pro layout. The problem you are running into may be specific to your data/workflow. @DEAF_PROBERT_68 - I can only think of 2 reasons why you might not see custom grid labels. Each of these is illustrated below. 1. None of the features that make up the custom grid intersect the map frame edge. In this case there will be no grid label. In the example below the upper sides and the top of the map frame do not have labels because none of the US States (custom grid layer) intersect with the map frame edge. 2. Layout elements, such as an image, draw on top of the grid labels. If this is the case you may want to move the element (ex: picture) below the map frame. At the moment I can't think of any other reason for no labels to draw along a map frame edge. If your scenario doesn't match the 2 above and you are still at a loss on why the labels are not drawing you may want to consider this as a bug and contact technical support. They are better equipped to handle troubleshooting steps and gather bug data. Thanks for contacting support.   Sorry if I wasn't clear in my earlier comments. I was not implying the issue you're seeing is not a bug with Pro. It most likely is. The point I was trying to make is that we could not reproduce the issue with the WMS services we use in our testing as evidenced by the screenshot I provided. Obviously from your screenshot you are experiencing something different. Not all WMS servers and services are the same. Unfortunately, we cannot test every variation of WMS servers and services. Things are going to get missed. That's why it is important to contact support in order to get reproducible steps. We tend to think of "workflow" as also including properties that are set for a given task, such as exporting. For example, the workflow, or steps, may be the same for exporting to PNG as it is for exporting to PDF. Basically, click Export Layout button on the ribbon, choose the File Type and click Export. 1, 2 3. However, the properties set in the Export pane are not. There could be an issue when exporting to PDF with Embed fonts checked on, which PNG does not support. Or, it could be an issue with exporting georeference information to the PDF - another thing PNG does not support. Hi @NasosAlexis, I don't believe an issue has been logged with support - at least one has not made it's way to my desk.  I am able to export a WMS service to PDF without issue.  The problem you are running into may be specific to the specific WMS service and or the workflow you are using. Without this information we would only be guessing at what the problem could be. Generally, we cannot fix bugs if we cannot reproduce.
