Hi Jacque,  It sounds like you are using Page Definition Queries with your ArcMap DDP (see Using Page Definition Queries—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop) to view a subset of features from various layers based on a matching field value to the current DDP index page. Hi Joanna,  The Global Land Cover 1992-2018 service is a different service type than the service types referred to in most of this thread.  Global Land Cover 1992-2018 is a Raster service. I was unable to get a legend using 2.6 or 2.5. I have confirmed that the legend is showing up in 2.7. I'm not familiar with the history of legend support for this service type so I do not know if this was supported in the past, though you say you were previously seeing the legend items for this service.  I'm just curious... do recall which version of Pro you were using? Hi Kurtis,  I'm glad you found a way around this issue.  We have resolved the export issue (issue #1) where this type of layer displays in the export result even if removed or if the visibility is unchecked.  However, we are still working on excluding Map Service layers that have have no legend info from the legend (issue #2). Some Map Service layer do have legend items, so we need a way to distinguish the difference and that may require work from multiple parts of the software stack. If this fix doesn't get into 2.7 you will be able to remove the Map Service layer item from the legend and not see it in the export result. As far as I know the work around is applicable for the World_Transportation service layer. I was able to exclude this layer from the legend using this work-around described above: From Add a legend—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation  Optionally, if you don't want all the layers added to the legend, expand the map in the Contents pane and select the layers to add to the legend. If no layers are selected, a legend is added containing all applicable layers from the map contained in the default map frame. 1. Select the layer in the Contents pane under the "Map" node that you want in your legend - in the order you want them to appear in the legend top-down 2. Insert the legend If these are the steps you are taking and you are still seeing the World_Transportation layer in the legend - then this is a different bug and should be passed along to https://support.esri.com/en/contact-tech-support. Hi Andrea,  You may be running into BUG-000133166 Map frames in an ArcGIS Pro 2.6 map series project do not maintain the correct extents when exported to layouts. A fix for this issue will be in the 2.7 release. However, without knowing the exact details of your workflow, the spatial reference of the maps & data, and the geometries of the the index features, it would only be a guess that your issue is the same.  You state:  When attempting to export the map series to individual PDFs, the extents are maintained for the first 2-20 exported maps and then at some point the extent for frame B changes to a different value for the rest of the maps. I'm assuming that page 1 is ok and that page 21 is when the results are incorrect and that results 21-200 are always incorrect.  Is this consistent? Is there something "special" about the index feature for page 21? Is it an odd shape compared to the other index features?  Where does it lie within the spatial reference of your map? Is it at the edge?  If you export to a single PDF do you get the same results. Do pages 21-200 give incorrect results?  What is the difference between the index features that give you good results and those that do not? This is just the start of the troubleshooting process and may help you discover a workaround.  This sounds like a bug.  Can you contact Esri Support? Hi Ming,  You are probably running into something similar to BUG-000131306.  Until this issue is addressed you will need to create a legend slightly differently than you are doing now. We hope to have this issue addressed by the next release. To get around the bug you will need to create a new legend that does not include this layer when the legend is created. You can do this in two ways. As you point out you can create the legend first and then add the service to the map.  If the service is already in the legend you can create a legend without this layer by selecting the layers you do want in your legend and then insert the legend.   From Add a legend—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation    Optionally, if you don't want all the layers added to the legend, expand the map in the Contents pane and select the layers to add to the legend. There is no option that I'm aware of.  It is likely that the tags have not been formatted correctly. Make sure that you are starting and ending the tag correctly. Here are some examples: Text formatting tags—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation.  When working with fields with "long" values in a table frame I would recommend enabling word wrapping for the table field.  Auto width is checked by default, meaning the field will automatically widen to fit all the data. When it is not checked, you can set the width of the field in the units of the page. If set to a specific width, the values of some fields may be truncated. You can check Enable word wrapping, which will write the data on multiple lines if the field is too narrow to fit all the information. From the help topic - Text formatting tags—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation  The ampersand (&) and angle bracket (<) are special characters and are not valid in your text if formatting tags are used. Use the equivalent character codes &amp; and &lt; instead. Annotation Instead of <ITA>John & Paul</ITA>, use: <ITA>John &amp; Paul</ITA> You will need to enter "amp;" after each instance of an ampersand in your text. Instead of using a text element to display this list you may want to consider placing you list into a table (in a file geodatabase or excel table) and inserting a table frame into your layout (see Add and modify table frames—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation). That way you can have the address in a separate field which you can then set to be italic (provided the font supports italics) using the symbol properties for this field (see Add and modify table frame fields—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation) Depending on your workflow you may find working with a table frame easier than a text element.
