@NAOMIPAUL I was able to set up a hub site on AGOL and then register, one by one, links to our public Enterprise rest services, make them public, and adding them to the "Open Data Content Group".  This will allow anonymous users the ability to download our data using the AGOL Hub. My problem is not related to the solution here but I wanted to post these links in case anyone else ended up here searching for: arccatalog 10.8.1 "failed to connect to database" "failure to access the dbms server" It's important to have the correct ODBC drivers installed depending on which version of SQL Server you are running. If SQL 2022 then you need ODBC v 18. I have noticed an issue with web apps vs instant apps regarding labels. When I use web appbuilder my labels appear correctly but when I try using the same map in an instant app the labels are different. We have a district shaped like backwards C so the label appears outside of the boundary on an instant app but inside on an app using web appbuilder. Also, the labels don't seem to adjust locations very well when I zoom in on either of the apps with the instant app not moving any labels at all.  Here are a couple links so you can see what I am talking about... I wanted to give an update that yes, it seems like the indexing and search is working in 3.0.3 (at least for now haha!).  It's dependent on what you have selected in the contents pane within the project tree in catalog view.  If you have Folders selected, it will search Folders. If you have Layouts selected it only search Layouts. I'm not sure, but it seemed to really get better as I tried searching more areas. At first I selected Databases in the Contents and ran a few searches there. Next, I selected a folder and searched there. It initially didn't find anything but after letting it sit all day I returned and ran some more searches and low and behold, it found stuff!  So maybe it just needs a little prodding at first. I have a published GP tool that utilizes dynamic data and I can confirm that adding a calculate field pre-step to my published model seems to work.
