I would make a feature layer, then use the Select Layer by Attribute tool to select out ObjectID = 7. Then use the Delete Features tool. As stated in the help, "If the input is a layer with a selection, only the selected features will be deleted." Luke

You could use the Color Coded Maps data in BAO. There is a free 14 day trial you can try. Otherwise, we sell crime data down to the census block level: Esri Crime Indexes Data.

Hello, It sounds like you need two things: an overview/locator map and a title page. As far as the locator map, the following article discusses this: Creating a locator map for a map book. I know you aren't familiar with Python, but as far as I know, the Adding title and overview map pages to your map book article (which uses some Python) is the way to add a title page. I may be wrong, however. Luke

Zheenbek, you are seeing the different extents because one is still in a geographic coordinate system (most likely WGS 1984) and one is in a projected coordinate system. A GCS will have 1-3 digits to the left of the decimal (as they are measured in degrees) and a projected will have more, like 5-7 (as they are measured in linear units like feet or meters). If they both say in the properties that they are WGS UTM zone 43 N, then the one with 2 digits is incorrect. Like Melita said, perhaps the Define Projection tool was used to assign the PCS to the file, but it actually wasn't reprojected into the PCS. This means it is still stuck in GCS with a label or wrapper that says it is PCS. Try defining it back to WGS 1984 and then using the Project tool to project to your desired UTM zone.

Again, keep in mind that there are limits on what we can realistically expect the software to do. If the above steps don’t resolve your performance issues, you may want to consider logging a request with Support Services and we’d be more than happy to continue testing from there.Lucas D. - Desktop Support Analyst |
