I will contact the team and let them know about the update issue you are seeing with offline data being lost after the update. We post our update plans on the blogs.esri.com site. Collector for ArcGIS v10.3.4 is out | ArcGIS Blog Russ

The app does not choose when to update. This is an OS setting that lets the app update happen automatically without any interaction with the AppStore. You will need to go under settings, Itunes & App Stores and switch off Automatic Updates to prevent this from happening again.

Sorry Dan, I have not seen that happen before when a device is being sync'd through iTunes and the data is wiped during that sync.

Did you see that the folder was empty after you click on the folder in itunes and click Save To? The save to will grab whatever is in that folder and bring it to your save location. From there you would see the downloaded data.

We took this out at after the first or second release a couple years ago because we added an actual browsing experience to the app where you can find maps shared to you. Before that was added the only way to access a map was through the hyperlink. The hyperlink workflow had various issues across iOS and Android that were outside the apps control. There were issues across different versions of Android and through the various Android Skins(Blur, Sense, TouchWiz etc) and through all the different browsers and various email and messaging clients not recognizing the hyperlink that this was adding more confusion to the workflow instead of helping out the user.

EXIF limitation will still be there. You will have to use the stock camera app with location permission and then add the photos to Collector through the photo library.

I don't work on Collector team directly anymore so this could be an issue introduced in a recent update. Right now I am focused on AGOL and Web Scene Viewer but I will ask the team. Miaogeng Zhang will be able to help you out. Few questions on the issue you are seeing: Are you using iOS or Android? What version of the app are you using? Are you using a hosted feature service or an ArcGIS Server feature service? What type of relationship are you using "1 to Many" ? Thanks! Russ

Hosted scene services are currently only supported on Portal for ArcGIS 10.3.1 with data store. Support for these scene services in AGOL is planned for next year. Cheers Russ

Hey Majdoleen, So the extrusion used on a feature layer in Pro is different then the extrusion spec used in the web scene viewer. Pro will be getting support for this spec but I don't have an exact release date for you but that is why the layers do not appear extruded in the Web Scene Viewer. The feature search in a web scene is also currently not there but it is something we plan on adding to the WSV. Right now you can only use Esri Geocoding services or custom geocoding services. Cheers Russ

Currently you can only extrude features off of a set value. We are planning on improving the symbol editor in the web scene viewer to support configuring symbols and extrusions off of attribute values in our release early next year. Let me know if you have anymore questions. Russ

This is only possible if you are using subtypes with your domains and off of the subtype 1 you have the domain listed in the template and subtype 2 there is no domain and its just a text field.

The main issue with that script is that any edited features will not come through and could cause errors either in the script or the output in the resulting gdb. The script really only works well when new features have been added. I would really recommend if you can use the 10.3 tool that will migrate the data over into a fgdb.
