If parentglobalid is set to a GlobalID type that is system managed and you cannot change it or append into it.  You could try using Pro and set the new Preserve GlobalID option.  Not sure if that works on Append but it may. Finally got to test today and it is looking good on iOS.  Number fields in Grid now are a LOT faster.  I did notice it will not highlight a default value if it is in there.  This means if I have to delete the value before I change it.  But this also means I can just "tab" through defaults now.  Not sure if this is on purpose or which is better yet or if they can be combined. Can this be extended to drop down fields?  It does not auto tab now since the enter just excepts the input.  Not sure if even possible but most of my big form is drop downs. Well this it all true I am not sure this applies to 123. 123 stores all its coordinates in WGS84.  I would think that 123 will do the area calcs in 84 in the back.  I am doing this now with distance.  I take a passed in lat/long from Collector (which uses a WGS84 service) then use radian math to clac the distance from the point given to the current location. 123 does not really have a map - that is just for viewing your location on it.  I do not think 123 would be asking the map, or any service, the area math since you will probably be offline. Yea I second this one.  In Filemaker it actually just goes to the next question for you (and will even drop down the drop down automatically for you).  In mobile just enable the button to be Next instead of Done. Would really help with data entry speed. ... View more

It may have to do with the number of relationship classes?  We have 2 feature classes that do not work - there are 21 Relationship classes in one and 19 in the other.  But we still DO see the attributes for another FC in the same service that has just 7 relationship classes. Anyone do 19 or 20 before?   Any more ideas? Thanks ... View more

Using your example if I add the same time question outside the repeat, and change it to a Note field - then it will recalc when coming back from Drafts.  It will even change just navigating the repeats using the arrows.  As Text it will show the recalc button but not recalc. It is looking like Text as read only may work differently than note?  Do all Note fields update when just viewing from Drafts/Sent?  Never noticed before but that is what seems to be happening. Our formulas are the same but we tested again and it does recalc the minutes Are you opening from Draft or Outbox or Sent? Seems to do it in each. In some ways it makes sense because the calc uses now() - which is always changing.  I think i tried End also but same issue.  Not sure though. Thanks ... View more

Agreed.  123 has to move past just on one computer now.  It needs to scale to the Enterprise.  Scalability with Esri products has always been tough but I was hoping 123 would be different. Next year I will be running 125 forms!  There is not even a scroll bar in Connect or a non icon list - which tells me it was not tested at that scale.  2021 I am looking at having 250 forms.  And, as you mentioned, I cannot share the workload with anyone!  Plus if someone is out on vacation we just have to wait it out.  And I too have already lost all my data due to a hard drive going out.  Backing up just My Documents is the standard in every company I have every worked at so not sure how this got missed. Seems like letting users choose, and switch between, directories of forms would be a super simple fix.   ... View more

Yes.  In this case we have a list of potential species based on the state.  So if the user picks CA then the list of potential plants is narrowed down to just CA plants.  Then in the select_multiple list they can check the boxes for each plant they see.  For now we have to make it a repeat with a select_one.  Which is of course slower when you are rapid fire logging plants you see around you.
