Hello, I'm trying to include a choice label that has a superscript: Quilt Xcel 2.2 SE5 Note: I apologize for the HTML tags in the post. Apparently GeoNet also does not like superscript. (Your post has been changed because invalid HTML was found in the message body. The invalid HTML has been removed. Please review the message and submit the message when you are satisfied.) When I view this choice in Survey123 is appears as Quilt Xcel 2.2 SE5. How do I get Survey123 to display the value properly. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. ~Dan

I'm having issues when trying to view the pop up. When I click on a feature the only information that gets displayed is the pop up title. No other attributes are displayed. I've tried this with several different feature classes and always get the same results. What could I be doing wrong? Pop up window that shows no attributes

Hey Zach, For some reason my GeoNet is all messed up and I am having trouble using it on a consistant basis. I assume that it’s related to the GeoNet migration. I hope you don’t mind that I respond to you directly. So what I am trying to do is once a soil pit is dug you have multiple soil horizons. Each repeat represents a new soil horizon. With each soil horizon you have an upper measurement, which start at 0, and a lower measurement which represent the depth. What I’m attempting to do is as the second repeat is started, the lower measurement from the first repeat is automatically enter in for the upper of the second repeat. First Repeat Upper – 0 Lower – 25 Second Repeat Upper – 25 Lower – 45 Third Repeat Upper – 45 Lower – 60 Etc… This work starts at row 111 and my LOWER_MAX calc is on row 87. Thank you very much for your help Zach. Cheers! ~Dan Dan Bihari (he/him) Senior Geographic Information Specialist Resource Information Business Services Unit

I am building a soil mapping survey and am having a problem with one of my calculations. I have repeat questions related to the soil's profile. Each repeat represents a soil horizon. Some of the properties that need to be captured is the Upper and Lower depths. What I am attempting to do is: if HORIZON_NO = 1 UPPER = 0 else UPPER = LOWER_MAX LOWER_MAX is the max of the LOWER measurement recorded in the repeats. Essentially the first horizon will have an UPPER measure (depth) of 0. The second repeat or horizons will now automatically populate the upper to equal the previous lower. The code that I used is: if (${HORIZON_NO}=1, 0, ${LOWER_MAX}) What ends up happening is that first repeat does not get a 0 and when I capture a second repeat it actually concatenates the 1 and 0 from my if statement.

Hey James, Thank you for getting back to me. We are currently testing this functionality with our specialists but the ultimate end goal is to have farmers use this tool to report their CLB counts. The main reason why I decided to use the Inbox in the first place was so that our users would just have to enter in their field information once and come back to that same field to add their counts throughout the growing season. Alternatively they would have to submit a net new survey every time they are back in the field doing observations. If there's an alternative way to capture related (repeated) data I would definitely be open to any and all suggestions. Thanks again for your help James

Hey James, Would you happen to have an update to whether or not the public can access the Inbox of Survey123? As it stands I am being prompted for a login even though the survey is shared with Everyone and I'v checked of Add and update records. Obviously it's still not available. Do you have any idea if or when this functionality will be made available. My survey will be used by crop specialists who will be monitoring the spread of cereal leaf beetle. I have a series of repeat questions set up around beetle counts based on various visits throughout the growing season. ~Dan

I've created a survey that assists crop specialists with tracking counts of Cereal Leaf Beetle. I have two parts to the survey: the first part that collects information regarding the field location, crop type, tillage, etc and the second part being a series of repeated questions related to the different stages of the crop based on the time of scouting and most importantly the observed counts. As part of the first section of the survey, outside of the "repeat", I have an sum() aggregate function that acts as a running total. If I add multiple counts at the original time of data collection it works perfectly. But the way I set this survey up is to allow the users to come back to the same field, multiple times throughout the growing season, and update their counts. I've done this by enabling the Inbox and setting up my Repeats to allowAdds=true. This is where my problem comes in. When I add new counts, the sum() does not update to take in to account those recently adding values. Only the latest counts are displayed in the sum fields. They are not added to the totals How do I trigger the sum() function to incorporate these newly added values? Thank you for your assistance.

An issue just started late last week that is preventing my clients from expanded any WMS layers in my Layer List, whether it's to see the legend or other layers within that WMS. I was able to recreate the error/issue by using the Query widget. When I open the web app, which was built in the web app builder, I can expand and minimize any and all WMS layers. As soon as I try to use the Query widget, right after the query is complete I lose all ability to expand WMS. I've included a test web app to demonstrate the error/issue. http://www.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=aaa46a2be7434046a9e49b177b6c73f9 What's really puzzling is that it does not affect feature service, just WMS. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. ~Dan

I’ve been working with Survey123 and Microsoft Flow to automate an email response once a survey has been submitted. I came across and article (published on Sept. 24, 2018) where it states that one of the limitations will be: Data from repeats will also be missing in Microsoft Flow at the moment Has Esri made any advancements in exposing repeating data in Microsoft Flow? Is this still a limitation? Also, is there a way to expose “select” question data from a submitted survey that does not require me to duplicate questions just so that I can display it in an email. I have so many questions that I have to store answers twice just so that I can get it to work with Microsoft Flow. Any assistance or direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. ~Dan

I've installed an instance of SQL Server Express, successfully registered it and configured it. No matter what I try, I am unable to connect to it through Add Database Server. I can connect to it on the server side but not the client side. SQL Server Browser is running... SQL Server (<instance>) is running... Shared Memory, Named Pipes and TCP/IP are all enabled. Under Server Roles I have both "public" and "sysadmin" checked. On the client side, the only way I can get Add Database Server to work is if I include a port number (i.e. myserver\<instance>,58524). The problem that I run into is that the status of the database server in unknown (little white box on the server icon). When I view my Database Server properties, my Status in unknown as well as my Class is unknown. Without these two properties populated, I am unable to do anything with the database. My server is running Windows Server 2008 R2 (64-bit) and ArcGIS Server 10.1. As mentioned earlier, I'm using SQL Server 2008 R2 (Express). Any assistance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Everyone.

Hey Chris, You're last sentence, how would you run a sub-process as 32-bit python. Using ESRI help (http://blogs.esri.com/esri/arcgis/2012/11/12/python-scripting-with-64-bit-processing/) and Kevin Hibma thread, I successfully ran my Python script. It is definitely a 64-bit Python problem. C:\GIS_Workspace\Python_Scripting>C:\Python27\ArcGIS10.1\python.exe NASM_Layer_Creator.py
C:\GIS_Workspace\Python_Scripting> The reason I ask about sub-processes within a master script is it would be nice to have it run outside of Command Prompt. My ultimate end goal is to create multiple data layers, from Excel files, on a weekly basis using Scheduled Tasks. Thanks Wayne and Chris for all your help. Cheers!
