I just wrote a script in a batch file that allowed me to write folder and subfolders before I can do my ArcGIS project. Rather than doing in ArcCatalog and create each folder and subfolder... That is painful !!! Decide to do that in writing in script... since I will be doing the same things over and over for each my project. If you have something to share with me that is similiar to it. Keep it in mind that I am using Government computer that may not allow me to install anything unless it is approved. Take care, Robert

I'd just change to a different folder and try re-export it. That works for me. Then if you must move that export file to where you want after you already exported the file.

I tried and I am getting errors that it would not process it. What might I go wrong here... The Vertical Alignment has drop down that you can select top, center, and so on...

Hi, I am trying to calculate this annotation table I have here and wanted to change the vertical Alignment from top to Center ? Is there a way around for me to fix this or some kind of special requirement since it is an annotation in geodatabase ? I tried and it would not change to center. How do I do that ? Thanks !

I know this is December and you post your question last July and I am reading all of the post here on GeoNet. So, from what I understand your situation. ESRI's Basemap are basically not projection. and it is based on http://www.esri.com/events/seminars/bettermaps/~/media/files/pdfs/events/seminars/bettermaps/materials/pdfs/webmercators… but you would need to find out for Bing Base Imagery on what their coordinate system are using.. I am assuming the same coordinate system as ESRI's . So you will always have different alignments especially imagery and vector datasets. The best way to do is when you open ArcMap, bring your known projection system datasets first and then bring your basemap later, so that way you have the projection system in place especailly when you want to export to a new dataset so you will have the same projection system Good luck.

Another idea is to use the Draw toolbox and create a polygon there and when you are done and convert graphics to features as a polygon. I have not tried that but just the thought.

Does the DEM you have are in known projection rather than geographic coordinate systems ? I'd check on that ..

OK, this is something I will give a try. Thanks ! Also, the reason why I post was because I wanted to know if others have already did the same thing what I am going to do.
