If you go back to the title "Modify the new survey" Go to number 2. it said See it said Delete all rows. So I did and that is what is the problem. it didn't work nothing change... I will have to go back and do all over again and see if it works this time without delete all .

Thank you ! Now I know why my side wasn't working... The excel you gave me is different from what I was reading the steps. It said to delete some of the rows...is what causing the problem.. What I mean is that just to delete one row or change the row that sort of thing. The Excel you gave me shows that the Survey tab showed all of the fields and rows interacted and just change a bit . BTW, the first link you gave me showed me : Thank you for your time and patient with me...

When you are working on to set it up a form, at the bottom of the Screen that says Map ( See Screenshot) If you are not in your current area and if someone is at a different area, for example, you are working at Los Angeles, CA and someone asked you to do a form for them. The Map should have a settings to set a lock to prevent it from keep returning to Los Angeles. Let say if you are in small town, Bishop, California, and you are in Los Angeles office. The settings SHOULD be set to Bishop, CA instead of Los Angeles. I went to the Map settings and it doesn't say "lock" to prevent from getting return to the same place

Ok, I did play around after I post my question and see none BUT I did went into ArcGIS Survey123 online and I can see I did created 3 points from my IPAD and wonder why it is different between the two ? I mean the ArcGIS Survey 123 online vs ArcGIS Survey 123 on desktop ? If you have a link to provide me, please do so. Thank you

I have a question that I am not unclear understanding.... For this exercise , I am using here : https://learn.arcgis.com/en/projects/collect-hurricane-damage-assessments/ I follow exactly what this at step : " Test the Initial Damage Assessment survey" on my IPAD and I sent 1 back and then I went back to the ArcGIS Survey123 desktop . How will I know when it is updated ? I did refresh the circle BUT I do not see anything at all ? I re-read it again and thought to myself what does this tells you : "The survey questions are broken into several groups based on theme. The first group contains questions about the property and damage. The second group asks for information about the inspector collecting the data, and the third is about the property owner." In the previous survey, you added a hidden question that always had the same value. In this survey, different answers to the Assessment Type question need to be possible, since different methods can be used to conduct the survey." I do not see any broken here ? Look at the screen If it is broken, will anything show up as it should be ? I have updated ArcGIS Survey123 apps on my desktop and the IPAD as ell.. Also, On my ArcGISSurvey123 desktop , when I update the form the map does not show it is in Houston, TXi as it should be ,Correct ? Help !

Never mind ! I took care of it right before you answered. I think it is because I copied and paste to the bottom of the Excel is what caused the error. I play it around and test by delete the copied and paste. It worked.

Hello, This Lesson has another problem, I think, https://learn.arcgis.com/en/projects/oversee-snowplows-in-real-time/ If you scroll down to Add Elements (Under Create a dashboard), When you use the List as an element and you selected a layer Vehicles (Latest). On my side, if you go to Number 6 . This is about Actions. When you add an Action, There is a list you choose from. On my side, I only have a few list to choose and one of them did not appear Follow Feature Here is my screenshot of what I am talking about I am, I think, maybe this layer is not connected to this ArcGIS GeoEvent Server, which cause not to display the follow Feature ?

I wanted to post this a question that I am working on to learn about Creating your first dashboard using ArcGIS dashboards here : https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/ops-dashboard/mapping/create-first-arcgis-dashboards/ It seems like on Step 6 it talks about trigger on the Map Actions tab. Well it seem like this page has not update to reflect the latest update. Mine had said Actions tab and then it says When Selections changes and then when I click on the Add Target. and was able to add list.. BUT if you go to the same thing for Trigger for the flash on step 7 and I was able to add this flash from the Add Target. All good but it did not mention to save it before you go back to Configure . How is that possible ? Because in order for you to go back to Configure , you need to save it. When I did that and went back to Configure again and I don't see any trigger at all.
