I'm trying to save a file in the Notepad to build my Select By Attributes so I can save them for later use. Problem I don't know what to save which file type it can read ? My question is which file type do I need to save as what ? Hi friends to the around the world !  I am located in Southern Colorado and I am here to introduce myself who am I and why do I work in GIS . I am myself deaf and been in the GIS field for almost 20 years. I earned my Geography degree from California State University, Fullerton. I also earned a GIS certification from the University of California, Riverside GIS Extension Program. Who do I work for ? USDA US Forest Service . Why am I deaf ? My mom had rubella when she was pregnant with me.  Born deaf. What language do I read and write ?  American English and American Sign Language How do I communicate with people ? When I was in college, they offer the basic cartography course which lead me to take further GIS courses and then went to Extension GIS courses to learn more diversity topics. I have a question as I am learning  how to use AGOL. I had a training with the AGOL/Survey 123/ Collector through my agency. So what if you have an mxd that has layers and Image in the Table of Contents. What if I want to turn the images off and not have to remove it.... So when you decide to upload to AGOL through the file --->  Share As  Is it okay to turn it off the images and not to remove them before Share as to the AGOL ? I have a question about copy and paste a large file of an imagery I save as a TIF file. It is about 1 GB and it has four files that goes with it... I copy and paste all of four files from my hard drive to the server.   So when I copied it and paste to the server, I can see that it takes about 5 hours or so... It started like at noon and then when I return to my desk and it looked like it was completed around 4 hours.   I checked the Windows Explorer for that 4 files on the server and I can see it is there . BUT when I open it in ArcCatalog and I can see it is still there but it would not let me see it in preview... What is the reason for these files to show up there on the server but it won't letting me to see it in preview in ArcCatalog ? HELP !!! ... View more
