Matt, I would check to see if Web Adaptor has been installed and if so, was it configured properly. Then I would try to figure out why IIS seems to think that http://externalDevSite.domain.org/arcgis is the default website. Luci

Hey Matt, Do any requests (without the port number) http://externalDevSite.domain.org/arcgis/rest go to the ArcGIS server? 1) the root http://externalDevSite.domain.org/ goes right to http://externalDevSite.domain.org/arcgis- we cannot hit our IIS landing page from the external network, as everything is redirected to the ./arcgis suffix. - Why is everything redirected to /arcgis? We upgraded our ArcGIS Server to 10.2.2 this morning. Ever since, in our javascript app, if the map is zoomed in to a LOD where the scale is smaller than 1:1000 and a user clicks on a polyline or point feature to do an "Identify", they receive "No Results". Zoom one level back out and click and they receive results in the popup. Polygons still retrieve results when zoomed in. It has just affected polylines and points. I have the identifyParameters = 6; and I have changed it to 10 and even 20 with no change in the results. Our javascript app is using the 3.10 api. Anyone else having a similar problem since upgrading? Thanks! Luci

We have been able to get it to perform on two different servers. Server 1 we have an IIS - "Intranet" - html/javascript website utilizing the rest services on the ArcGIS Server 10.2.2 installed on that same server. The web adaptor is installed and is configured as: http://machinename:6080 If you are on the internal network - you reach the default IIS website by entering http://machinename This server is not accessable from outside of our network without a VPN connection. Server 2 we have an IIS - "Internet" - html/javascript website utilizing the rest services on the ArcGIS Server 10.2.2 installed on that same server. The web adaptor is installed and is configured as: http://gis.orgname.com:6080 Our IT department registered http://gis.orgname.com so that any DNS will resolve it to our server and it will open the default IIS website on Server 2. Do you have "sitename.com" registered and setup so that any DNS resolves it to your IP address? Thanks, Luci

If I am understanding you correctly, you probably have duplicate "bmp" entries and you only want them to join "IF" the "bmp" AND the "EMP" are the same as the other table row. Someone that knows python might be able to get you going in the right direction. I just don't know python well enough to say it can be done. My workaround would be to add another field in and field calculate the value to be a combination of the bmp and emp. ie: BMPandEMP Do the same for the other table. I know it adds extra fields, but they would then be unique for joining purposes. Food for thought. Thanks, Luci

You could accomplish this with a Two-way replica. Someone with a Standard or Advanced license would have to perform the replication process. See Replication help here:ArcGIS Help 10.1 Thanks, Luci Yep, forgot about both databases needing to be SDE. Two-way wont work in this case, bummer!

Hey Jarolsaw, Yes, I have the hyperlink working so that the virtual folder opens in Internet Explorer. The department that is using this one particular popup wants the folder to open in Windows Explorer so they can use windows file management features such as copy, paste, etc. We can open the folder in Windows Explorer in our html/javascript application popup. Thanks, Luci

I am trying to accomplish something similar. Did you ever come up with a solution to get a "Folder" to open in Windows Explorer and not Internet Explorer? Thanks, Luci

I know I have seen this question asked before but I cannot find it. What we are trying to do is use the image hyperlink url in the flexviewer 3.5 popup to open a folder in "Windows Explorer" instead of "Internet Explorer". We have tried several different hyperlink formats and all have been unsuccessful. So can this be done or not is the question. Methods we have tried: file://///servername\\location\\{Hyperlink} file:///\\servername\\location\\{Hyperlink} file://///L:\{Hyperlink} file:///\\L:\{Hyperlink} <a target=”_blank” href="file://///servername/location/{hyperlink}" ></a> <a target=”_blank” href="file:///\\servername/location/{hyperlink}" ></a> Plus about 10 others with double backslashes and double forwardslashes,, etc. Thank you in advance! Luci

I set my legend behavior for each layer when I push it to the array. ie: legendLayers.push({
layer : parcelsLayer,
title: 'Parcels',
noLegend: false,
collapsed: true,
autoToggle: false
}); I am also using the agsjs TOC widget. Hope this helps! Luci

When you click in the white box to the right of "Domain" in the "Field Properties" area, the domain "bench_type" is available and you select it. Then when you click "Apply" the changes are not saved? Thanks, Luci

You should be able to go to the "Map Gallery" look at the maps on your device and then select "Manage" and remove the map from your device. Quick reference—Collector for ArcGIS | ArcGIS Thanks, Luci
