Hi Tiffany, I know you've been back in touch with Esri Support Services, I just want to make sure that others who find this thread get this information as well. The new routing service requires a token from ArcGIS Online which the current versions of the ArcGIS for Local Government applications don't support. We are aware that the current service will be retiring soon, and are working on versions of our apps that will work with this new service. For now, though, you'll need to stick with the provided routing service (or possibly your own). As you heard from ESS, you are seeing this routing error for some addresses because they aren't on roads known to the routing service. To get around this, you could try using your own routing service. I haven't tested this application with a custom routing service, but I don't see a reason that it wouldn't work. -Allison

Hi Peter, The application is designed to support single-line geocoding. If you want to do multi-line geocoding it is likely you will need to do some customization in the application code itself. The 10.2 version of this app exposes more configuration parameters for geocoding. Depending on your reasons for using multi-line these may be helpful, although the app is still doing single-line. -Allison

Amanda & Jay, I looked into this a bit further and found that this is a known issue with the 10.1 Attribute Assistant. It has been resolved with the 10.2 release. -Allison M

Hi Julieta, I'm not sure which version of the Tax Parcel Viewer you downloaded, but you can find the steps to implement the 10.1/10.1 sp1 and 10.2 versions of this app online. The 10.0 download comes with a pdf help file. These steps will show you how to publish each of the services needed by the application, configure the application to use these services, and finally to publish the application. We recommend you first do these steps with the sample data we provide in the LocalGovernment.gdb. This help topic may also be of interest to you: Getting started with ArcGIS for Local Government Cheers, Allison M.

Hi Tiffany, Is this behavior consistent - ie do you always see this error with the same addresses, and never with others? Can you route to the same park from another address? Thanks, Allison M

Hi Kat, If you have an ArcGIS Online organizational account you can add the World Geocode service to a composite locator. Using the Create Composite Address Locator tool this service can be found under Ready-To-Use-Services. If you have more questions specific to geolocation, you may find more help on the Geocoding forum. Cheers, Allison M

This is a known issue at 10.1 (NIM082764) that has been resolved with the 10.2 release of ArcGIS for Server. To publish the General Purpose basemap (or any map service with an SDE data source and definition queries on geometry fields) using ArcGIS for Server 10.1, here are some suggested workarounds: 1. As you??ve discovered, removing the definition query avoids the error message. You can also create alternate fields to use in the query. For example, a numeric field that holds the same values as the geometry field or a true/false field based on the threshold for the original query. 2. This issue has been resolved with the 10.2 release of ArcGIS for Server, so upgrading will allow you to use the original queries in the map documents (with modifications to correctly reference SDE fields, of course) This is actually an ArcGIS for Server issue - not ArcGIS for Local Government. A related post with more information can be found on the Server forum: ERROR 001272: Analyzer errors were encountered (codes = 7) Cheers, Allison M

Hi Patricia, I'm not sure which Local Government app you are using, but check the configuration file for a section where you can set the initial extent of the application. By default, most of the applications are centered over Naperville, IL (some are centered over Bloomfield, MI), but you can change these parameters to re-position the initial extent over your area. The Extent Helper tool may help you identify what values to use. Also - your changes may not show up until you clear your browser cache. Cheers, Allison M.
