Thanks Brian, i think I figured out at least part of the problem is that your Enterprise needs to be externally accessible as the survey123.arcgis.com reporting service actually needs to query it.

Having a similar issue. It seems to be related to issues with the template but it is difficult to debug. Did you get anywhere with this problem?

Having the same problem with syncing at Enterprise 10.7.1 with Collector 19.2 on iOS. Collector Classic and Windows can sync against the same webmap. This is using a hosted feature service within Datastore.

Don't have a solution yet but the problem seems to be related to an inability for the Windows service to shutdown all the Portal processes correctly, especially the "java" and "javaw".

I’m completely stumped with an issue concerning a High Availability deployment of Portal 10.5.1 on Windows Server 2016. I'm following these steps http://server.arcgis.com/en/portal/latest/administer/windows/configuring-a-highly-available-portal.htm and after completing step 3 the Portal becomes unresponsive (home page won’t load, can’t log in to portaladmin, etc) and I’ll see the following error in the logs: SEVERE The portal has been initialized and configured but is not accessible. The internal portal database does not appear to be running or accepting connections. Restart the portal machine or machines and if the problem persists, contact Esri technical support (U.S.) or your distributor (customers outside the U.S.). I have tried all kinds of things (including contacting support, different file servers, firewall is disabled, re-installing, patches, setting permissions to be as liberal as possible). Note that the Portal works perfectly fine on a single machine, it is only after the join in Step 3 that these symptoms develop. The issue I'm having seems to be similar to these posts but no solution is really made obvious in these: https://community.esri.com/message/719338-arcgis-portal-issue portal HA 10.5 issue Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

maytenieves looks like iOS 11 may have changed the certificate requirements somewhat. Go to Settings > General > About > Certificate Trust Settings and make sure to enable full trust for your self-signed cert.

Just a point of clarification, Pro can override the symbology/layer order/etc on-the-fly of a Feature Service. It cannot (as of 1.4), as the original poster said do so for a MapService though.

Adam, I want to believe that you have 2 web adaptors working (one anonymous and one with IWA) but I can't see how this is possible. When I go to install the 2nd one I get: So I could setup a reverse proxy and then add another web adaptor but the reverse proxy is going to load balance between the 2 web adaptors (for high availability purpose). Unless you can add multiple WebContextURLs (e.g. /open and /iwa) I don't know how you accomplished this. Any chance you could provide some more details?

I agree! It is confusing for users that the layer they've made visible does not open in the attribute table by default.

Hi Kelly, rather than creating a new idea I thought I'd respond to this one. The organization I'm working with requires a breakdown of credit usage by group -- in their case a group is a Ministry in the government. Each Ministry pays for their usage independently, while the government as a whole wants to be able to share maps&apps between ministries and only have to administer a single ArcGIS Online organization. We've attempted to implement a custom credit report, however, a number of challenges make this difficult: users can be part of many groups and are able to remove themselves from a group in ArcGIS Online. For reporting purposes we need a the notion of a "Home Group" for each user that they cannot be removed from. storage credits are not assigned to specific users but are associated with the organization as a whole Any credits consumed via app proxy are also not assigned to specific users but associated with the organization as a whole. Users that are deleted from ArcGIS Online Although we've found workarounds for the above challenges -- the results are difficult to reconcile with the credit usage as reported on the ArcGIS Online Status page. It would be extremely beneficial if this functionality was built directly into ArcGIS Online. Thanks!

When I try to login to GeoEvent Manager I am always prompted with a window saying "To acquire a portal token, open this link and enter <geoevent manager url> for the "Webapp URL" parameter." Although I can log in with the token why is this necessary? Why isn't this single-sign on as with AGS? I'm using 10.3.1 GeoEvent, AGS, and Portal. AGS is federated with Portal and Portal is using Windows AD logins. Related to this issue (I think) is that any Stream Services I create can only be viewed if shared with "Everyone" in Portal, even though I've created the service with my Windows user, and in Portal it shows the stream service under "My Content". Thanks!
