Collector for iOS apparently can only see and connect via bluetooth to receivers that are MFi licensed/certified, per GPS receiver support—Collector for ArcGIS (Classic) | ArcGIS. However, we're developing a prototype device, initially using a raspberry pi, which is not MFi, and is therefore not visible in Collector as a receiver. One option is to use the NMEA-BT device from Aman Enterprises, which we're working on getting, but I'm wondering if we could write a program to take data transferred from the Pi to iOS over BLE (which we can do) and either set the location of the Integrated Receiver using that data (i.e., telling iOS that our location data is THE location data), or maybe create some sort of "virtual receiver" that can show up in Collector, or send the location to the map in Collector in some other way.

FINAL UPDATE: Uninstalling and reinstalling did the trick on my original device. I believe my issue was caused during my initial setup when I turned on the Save to Photos option for the Spike application. I made sure not to turn on that option on during the next setups and everything seems to be working properly between Survey123 and Spike. Thanks

UPDATE: I was successfully able to collect data using the update Spike Survey123 template and the Spike device. I am not sure what caused my initial error on my original iPhone. I will see if I resolve it by uninstalling and reinstalling all the applications.

Hi, I just downloaded the latest version of the Spike survey template for Survey123 and I keep getting an error message after I take a picture to perform a calculation. I am using the latest versions of both Survey123 (3.3) and Spike on my iPhone.

Survey123 for ArcGIS Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS Even though I was able to determine the root of my problem, it is still a problem I continue to face. Any chance this can get resolved so I don't need to Publish a brand new survey every time I make an update to my CHOICES?

Ismael, That is great news since we are planning on testing out the Spike integration with Survey123 in the next coming weeks. Will the Spike Survey12 template be updated as well? Thanks!

I was able to figure out the reason behind my issue. It was caused when I re-published my survey with updated choices, specifically for the Select_One question that I was experiencing the issue with. To resolve the issue, I had to publish a brand new survey using the create via an existing survey (pointed to my original survey xls file that I was working on) option. Once I did that I was able to submit new surveys and see the data populate correctly in the widgets for all questions.

Hello, I am currently building out a Web Application using a feature service layer published via the Survey123 Connect application and unfortunately have been running into an issue where one of my layer's fields isn't populating the attribute information submitted via the survey in any of the Web App Widgets. There are a couple of things that make this very weird. First, the field in question is a Select One question in my published survey but I have other Select One questions that are working properly and the attribute information is being displayed in the Web App widgets. Second, the attribute information is being displayed when I click on a survey on the map and view it via the Pop-Up. Finally, this issue seems to only be happening when I create a Web App via the Web App Builder application. If I try to create it via the Operations Dashboard the information does get displayed in the widgets, however, I would prefer to create my Web App via Web AppBuilder and not Operations Dashboard. I am not sure if this is a limitation of Web App Builder or something with Survey123. Phil, After some convincing, I was able to get my IT Department to enable my access to Windows Credential Manager and was able to delete out the Survey123Connect entries. Everything is working now and I am able to sign in. Thanks!

Phil, I am using AGOL. Do you know when version 3.2 of Survey123 Connect, with the fix, will be made available? I think I mentioned it before but my IT department said that by default Windows Credential Manager on my computer is set to disable so there is no way to delete the Survey123 Connect entries. If Windows Credential Manager is set to disable by default then how could it be the cause of my Sign In issue? Is something else going on?

I am experiencing the same issue as listed above and attempted to clear out and delete the Survey123Connect entries from Windows Credential Manager. However, I was told by my IT department that by default Windows Credential Manager is disabled meaning that it doesn't have any saved credentials for Survey123 Connect. Is there something else going on or perhaps there is a different solution I can try so I can Sign into Survey123 Connect? Thanks Re: Can't Sign In with Survey123
