Hello Abdul, Can you please provide more details related to the methods that you have used to create, share, and take the survey? 1. Was the survey created using the Survey123 web designer on the Survey123 website, or using Survey123 Connect? 2. Are the surveys being taken using the Survey123 field app or the Survey123 web app? 3. Have you shared the survey to the Group using the 'Collaborate' options within the Survey123 website, or another method? 4. Are there any signs that the survey has not been sent? (errors, exclamation points) or are there confirmations that they survey(s) have been sent? The answers to these questions will help in determining what may be causing the issue. Thanks, Brandon

Hi LTK, After taking a look at the log file that you sent me, along with the XLSForms before/after the attempt to add a field to an already published survey, it appears that you are encountering an issue that we currently have listed in our internal backlog. The behavior occurs when the only questions added are within a repeat. One workaround would be to add a question to the parent form at the same time (and subsequently remove it) or add the fields for the questions manually via the ArcGIS Online Item page/ArcGIS Pro and then add the questions to the survey. Hi Shana, Great to hear that you have a technical support case logged, as this allows for a more dedicated investigation of what may be causing the issue(s). As for the log, you should be able to write it to a file, as stated here..."To capture messages to a file, click the Logging switch to enable logging. When no AppStudioconsole is selected, the Log output location text box is automatically populated with the default log file location. You can edit this file path." Hi Curtis, There is no current timeline for the ability to view photo attachments via the Survey123 Inbox. It is currently possible to add a new attachment, as long as it is placed within a repeat.

Hi Shane, Unfortunately, it is not currently possible to update the schema of a survey initially created using web designer, using Survey123 Connect, as listed here I can't make schema updates in Survey123 Connect to my survey initially created in the Survey123 website. In the meantime, you can attempt a workaround to the issue, which involves navigating to the survey's folder within your ArcGIS Online Content folder,deleting the Feature Layer View, and attempting to publish again. Hi Shana, Interesting that the survey was not able to republish after adding choices to and existing select_one question. This should be possible, without having to overwrite the existing data. If this is still the preferred option, I would like to ask you to either Capture a Log when attempting to update the existing survey, and upload it here, or reach out to our technical support who may be able to take a closer look at why it is getting hung up on republish. As for the limitation of questions, please refer to the 'How many questions can a survey contain?' in the documentation linked below. Hi Robert, You mentioned that you were able to successfully generate reports without error earlier in the day, was this on the same record? If it was not on the same record, can you please try to identify some differences in the reports that were successful and those that were not? i.e. number of pictures, repeats, answered questions for the record. It would be good to know if the report(s) encountering issues have more data in them than those that processed without issue. Thanks, Brandon

It would be great to get further details related to the environmental variables that you are working with, and details related to the user role of those user's whose data is not reflected in the dataset after submitting. What are the user roles of those user's whose data does not appear? Is everyone who attempts to submit to the survey encountering the same behavior? Are there attachments included with the sent surveys? Within the field app, on the device, are the sent surveys reflected in the 'Sent' folder? Did you share the survey with your students using the 'Collaborate' options within the Survey123 website, or via ArcGIS Online at the feature service level? Hi Maneesh, The behavior that you are encountering has been identified as a bug, which is targeted to be fixed in the 2.8 release of Survey123 (should be sometime around May 15th).
