Hi Loretta, You will first want to download the data from all surveys that will not be the final to a file geodatabase using the steps listed here...View your results—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS You can then use the steps listed below to preserve the editor tracking information contained within the downloaded datasets when using the Append geoprocessing tool in ArcGIS Pro. 1. Login to ArcGIS Online or your portal in ArcGIS Enterprise and select 'Content' from the top panel of choices 2. Select the survey folder which contains the feature layer and form of the survey which you will be appending data to 3. Select the feature layer within the folder > Settings > disable 'Keep track of who created and last updated features' > Save 4. Open ArcGIS Pro 5. Add the previously downloaded file geodatabase data and any table containing attachments to the Current Map 6. Run the Disable Editor Tracking geoprocessing tool against your File Geodatabase data. 7. From the Contents pane—Right-click the feature class from your downloaded dataset > Design > Fields. 8. Check 'Read-Only' for all editor tracking fields (CreationDate, Creator, EditDate, Editor) > Save 9. Run the Append geoprocessing tool with your file geodatabase dataset as the input and the feature layer as the target 10. Login to ArcGIS Online and navigate to feature layer to ensure that all editor tracking information from file geodatabase has been preserved 11. Re-enable the option to 'Keep track of who created and last updated features' from the Settings of the feature layer > Save The editor tracking information from the appended data should now reflect it's original information and any new records will record the appropriate editor tracking information at time of collection. Please let me know if this works for you! Brandon

Hi Chris, To share the information that we discussed offline, the reason for the issues that you are encountering is related to the usage of v. 2.8 of the field app. As your survey contains nested repeats (began support at v. 3.0), you will need to use v. 3.0 or later of the field app in order to submit without hiccups. If you continue to encounter issues after attempting to submit with v.3.0 or later of the field app, please let us know. Best Regards, Brandon

Based on the naming structure of your survey, I am assuming that you originally created it using the web designer via the Survey123 website, or downloaded it to a computer that was not originating place of creation. Both of these will generate a folder which uses a unique alphanumeric value. Although you can change this, it shouldn't be necessary. As for the media folder, yes, you can create one, place your .tpk in there, and republish. Let me know how this goes. Best, Brandon

You can find the media folder for a particular survey by navigating to C:\Users\<username>\ArcGIS\My Survey Designs\<surveyname>\media The easiest way to get to the media folder is to open the survey in Survey123 Connect and click on the folder icon. Once doing so, it will open the directory for your survey which contains the media folder.

It should work upon placing the .tpk in the media folder and republishing. Some things to consider are ensuring that you re-download the survey once it has been republished, and making sure that the projection of the .tpk is Web Mercator Auxiliary Sphere. One way to ensure that your .tpk is ready for use with Survey123 is to use the esri labs desktop utility named Tile Package Kreator. You can download and use this utility here Tile Package Kreator.

Hi Carl, If you you shared the survey in Collaborate/Viewer options within the Survey123 website - Survey123 would have created a new feature service view (called surveyname_stakeholder). This is used to control access to the survey results page. Could you go to into ArcGIS Online and manually delete the view, then return to Collaborate/Viewer and re-share the survey the same way as it was prior to republishing? Please make sure that you only delete the stakeholder view. Please let us know your results. Best, Brandon

Hi Anna, The easiest way to accomplish this is to place the .tpk in the media file at time of publishing your survey from Survey123 Connect. You can view more on this this method, and others in the following help doc... Prepare basemaps for offline use—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS Best, Brandon

Hi Claire, The behavior you are encountering, with the data not appearing in repeats after the first, when there is a relevant clause applied to questions within the same repeat, has been raised in our internal backlog. We are currently investigating the cause. I will take a look at your XLSForm and confirm whether or not it looks to be the same behavior that you are encountering and will update this thread with more information if it appears to be something different. In the meantime, can you please confirm that the actual data is present in the feature service, and that this is a display issue as is the case with the previous issues listed? Thanks, Brandon

Hi Shawn, I am assuming that you are using the 'Collaborate' options listed in the following workflow to share your survey with an ArcGIS Online Group? If so, and you are still encountering issues, it may require further investigation. Please send over your contact information to barmstrong at esri.com so that we can setup a time to take a look. Hi J Rivers, As you stated, it appears that there are errors being caused by having only hidden questions within a group. I was able to reproduce the issue, and I will make note of the behavior in our internal backlog. In the meantime, can you please try to remove the 'begin group' and end group' from around the hidden questions and try to publish again? Please let me know how this goes. Best, Brandon
