Hi Chris, I can certainly do that, but do you know a way to do it via code? Web App Builder is simply where the app is starting it's life. We have various code modifications once we've done the initial work in WAB and could easily hit the pop-up customization as well. I should have mentioned that we're using the web app builder developer edition to create the apps and then we serve them off of our ArcGIS Server so we have access to all of the code files. Thanks Darren, I had seen this as I was searching for similar questions and hoped someone might have a new idea. I was able to handle the property modifications as part of my script but still like the idea of setting them from the start. Thanks for taking the time to look around. Best, Brandon

Is it possible to set address locator properties, like minimum match score, before creating the address locator with arcpy? I'm modifying them after creation in the *loc.xml file.

Does anyone know a way to edit the default size of a pop-up in javascript web app builder application? The best would be to make it aware of the attributes and fit to size. I'm also interested in how to make it move further away from the feature it is identifying. Has anyone been able to do this?

Awesome! Worked like a charm Tim. Thank you so much for your help and the widget. A general question now: I know there is another area for custom WAB widgets. Can I post this there with a link to this discussion or how would you like it handled. I guess you could summarize my question like "I like this and I think others will too, what do I do now on geonet?" Thanks, Brandon

Thanks Tim! Looks great to me. My only critique would be that when it first loads it says "Your Scale". Is that because my default scale is in between the esri default scales?

Tim, Am I understanding your reply that instead of building a new custom widget I could just modify the code for the scalebar widget using the api reference you sent previously? If so this is something I could take a look at. I've been trying to find an approachable project related to the api. Thanks, Brandon

Hi Tim, Thanks for the quick reply. I see the scalebar widget now, but I guess I should have been more specific in my question. I'm interested in knowing if the user is at 12,345 or 1,128 rather than giving them the ability to measure using a scalebar. My goal is to have some way to know when a user is asking why they can't see a layer to be able to tell them how far to go in. Or if they say that it needs to be visible at a certain scale I can quickly make the change rather than educated guessing. Is there another way to accomplish this goal? Thanks, Brandon

Brett, We've been trying to use Jmeter with some of our internal services and have had trouble. We think we're handling the https portion correctly but still get errors. I can post back with the specifics if someone would find that useful but perhaps there is another example out there for secured services? I too really like tereshenkov's blog. Has anyone used System Test to test service loading?

I would like to display the current map scale to the user in a web app builder application. Is this possible using a widget or does it require additional code? Hi Kelly, I made the switch and now when I look at the service details it asks me to login. And unfortunately none of my logins seem to work. My guess is there are some other settings I need to change to support token based security. Do you know of set-up documentation I could look at prior to submitting an esri ticket? Is it in the link you provided before? Thanks, Brandon
