Hi Ismael, Has there been a blog post related to Nicolas’s question? We’ve been using public surveys a fair amount and have attempted to secure them to the extent possible. Things like only allowing adding to the feature service, multiple views with different permissions, hiding the form items after distribution, etc. And it would be great to here from your team what options you feel exist for securing the surveys or data and what implications it might have on usability or accessibility. I think it would go a long way to helping all of us assuage our IT/Security co-workers. I’d be happy to elaborate on any of our efforts in this arena if it would be useful. And thanks for the great blog posts and question responses! Best, Brandon Keinath

Hi Ismael, Sorry about that. We had to change owners of the survey to allow it to be shared publicly which may have changed the itemID. Try this arcgis-survey123://?itemID=21e1d9c90c974df7a0db0c7814c52af8 . I copied it from the collaborate tab. Thanks, Brandon

Hi Ismael, Have you seen this behavior before? We can share the survey publicly for testing, but I've made other surveys that don't require it to be public in order to use the url scheme. I'll have Kim share the survey publicly and message back when it is ready for testing. Thanks, Brandon

Thanks Gordon. I'm disappointed that it doesn't work yet, but happy to understand your workflow. Thanks for taking the time to explain it! Best, Brandon

I'm adding this for a colleague, Kim Sundeen (MP), having browser issues. " I’ve followed the instructions for taking my published survey123 form id and added it to the URL of arcgis-survey123://?itemID=9fcec8debb13408092605ac9687477e4. When opening this link from my phone, the link opens up Survey123 for ArcGIS and downloads the survey, but then won’t recognize that the survey has successfully downloaded. As the picture shows, I continue to receive the message stating “The Survey [my survey name] has not been downloaded.” Even when I can plainly see the survey is downloaded, the message remains at the bottom of the screen unless I close completely out of Survey123 and reopen it. The URL scheme process also will not pre-populate any fields I tried. Has anyone else experienced this issue? What is the solution or work-around? "

Thanks Tucker. After I enabled the unique ids I made the table layer 0 and the feature class layer 1. After that I was unable to publish the hosted feature service. It always resulted in an error and the service wouldn't publish. When I make the feature class 0 and the table 1 it works again. Any ideas? Have you succeded in publishing a service with the table as layer 0?

Thanks for the quick reply Gordon. I'm still a little confused so let me try and clarify my question. I'm looking to have a feature class to table relationship and use Survey123 to add rows to the table. When I read your step 4 it sounds like you are still using two feature classes (primary feature class and survey123 feature class). Is that right? Thanks for your help Brandon

Hi Gordon, Can you be more specific about how you were able to make the table the first layer in ArcMap? I'd also like to use survey123 to edit related tables but I'm struggling to make it the first layer. Thanks, Brandon

Hi Ismael, Has there been any progress to make Survey123 look at other layers? I'm confused how I make a table the first layer in ArcMap. Thanks, Brandon

Thanks Ismael. I cleared my cache and the setting now looks like your screenshot. Thanks for your quick response! I don't know if you can change the blog post, but it does say I shouldn't need to clear my cache.

Thanks Ismael, Did the website get updated after the 1.9 release? I still see it as "coming soon" when I try to share to everyone. I made a comment on the blog post as well.

This is very exciting but I don't know if the website has been updated to allow sharing to everyone. This is what I see when I login to share my survey. I logged in with a user that can share publicly and also a user that can't. Both screens are the same. I also tried making a survey using the webpage vs. survey123 connect and again the results are the same. Help please!

Jason, I can't confirm if you're on the right track with the calculation, but I know what you want to do is possible with python when you download the data and attachments. What you're suggesting would be a big improvement though!

Thanks for the quick reply Ismael! You're absolutely right and after updating the app I now see the "minimal" appearance. We're using this app a lot within our organization and I'm very excited to see where it goes!
