Hi Larry, I find that mxd here \\recpgis01\E$\Program Files\ArcGIS\Server\Templates\ExportWebMapTemplates. And I can understand that it will work by default if you name the files the same as they are within this folder but it won't see any other files unless you edit the script parameters to have the additional mxd names. And I don't know how to do that without publishing my own geoprocessing service. Brandon

Hi Brian, I've struggled with this all myself so don't feel bad. I don't believe the default Export Web Map Task knows anything about layout templates so you will need to publish your own geoprocessing service. That will allow you to specify the template folder location as a variable in your script. import arcpy import os import uuid # The template location in the registered folder (as UNC path) templatePath = '//MyComputerName/MyDataStore/USA' This tutorial was really helped me when I was publishing print templates. This works great Larry! While I was playing around with your print widget I also noticed the default layer widget. Is this something available by default or could you share the code with me? Much simpler for users than hitting the "reset" button. Thanks, Brandon

Hi Stan, I'll check out the post you mentioned. Are you able to share the reference data? I'm still having issues with my locators and I'm wondering if it is something special in your data or the schema. Thanks, Brandon

Hi Stan, Sorry for the late reply. I was working through an esri incident related to my ArcGIS pro create locators. I was finally able to publish one with suggest functionality. But I still don't get the suggest functionality when I'm in a web app builder application. I'm able to see suggestions when I look at the REST but not in the application. Can you walk me through your process again? Thanks for your help, Brandon

No worries. I didn't catch that in your previous reply but I had used the Create Address Locator tool when I had my data issue. What kind of locator were you creating? Thanks, Brandon

Thanks Stan, I tried as you suggested and had some data issues. What kind of geocoder were you creating? I'm trying to make a single field locator and it won't seem to take my data as any kind of reference data. Thanks for your help! Brandon

Hi Stan, Thanks for the reply. I haven't worked with ArcGIS Pro yet. Are there any hints you can pass along for creating geocoders in pro? Thanks, Brandon

I've created a geocoder using 10.3 arcmap that we are running in a web app builder application hosted on our 10.3 arcgis server. I understand from a conversation with ESRI that the "suggest" functionality introduced at 10.3 server doesn't work within web app builder. Is there any way to work around this? Thanks, Brandon

Hi Robert, I was finally able to test your code and it worked like a charm. Since we started talking about this it looks like a new version of web app builder developer edition lets you add extra zoom scales from the user interface. But it must be doing it slightly differently then you had suggested because when I examine the resulting _processMapOptions section in the MapManager.js file I don't see any extra code. Do you, or anyone reading, know how the new version of web app builder developer handles the extra scales? Thanks, Brandon

Hi Anthony, I'm very sorry for my late reply. I will test what you have suggested and reply back with my results. I'm in the middle of another project right now so I don't think I'll get to the testing for a few weeks. Thanks for your help! Best, Brandon

Hi Ted, Thanks for your reply. Am I understanding you correctly that the bar char widget behaves this way currently? Or are you suggesting that the widgets could be modified in order to take advantage of REST capabilities that they are not currently? Best, Brandon

Hi James, I like your notion of a "check all that apply" option. I can see the difficulty on the database side but I think you're on the right track with multiple fields. Since I posted this question I think one of our web developers figured it out and I just need to check in with him on how. Can you elaborate on your issues with using the individual fields? Thanks, Brandon
