Hi Pete, Where are you pasting the PIN - into the attributes pane or attribute table? Are you attempting to update the PIN attribute on the input table/feature class (left side) or join table (right side)? When did the issue start? So far, I'm not reproducing on my end, but perhaps there is something specific I'm missing. Have you reached out to Esri Technical Support? They can get your data/sample data and specific workflow, and report a bug to the proper development team. Here is the contact info for Esri Technical Support: https://support.esri.com/en/contact-tech-support Thanks, Scott

I'm not sure if Function keys can be used as accelerators, I will try to find out, but did you try something like SHIFT+F13?

Hi Jerry, You're hitting the Assign button, right? If so, and the accelerator is still not working, what command and keyboard combination are you trying to set? I'll test the same thing on my end. So far, I'm not reproducing the issue. Thanks, Scott

Hi Thomas, Thanks for reporting this. We are currently look into the behavior and how we can address it in a future release. As a side note: If you are creating closed loops of 2-point lines for something like parcels, you may want to look into the 2-point line tool. In 2.4, it has an option to continue, which makes creating consecutive 2-point lines easier. From the create features pane, click on the 2-point line tool... Hit the blue arrow above to get into the active template and the option is there... If you need 2-point lines, it may help you avoid the issue. Thanks, Scott

Hi Melissa, Are you entering the attributes into the Attribute Table or the Attributes Pane? If you're entering into the Attribute Table, you will need to hit Enter to apply edits to the table: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/help/data/tables/edit-a-value-in-a-table-cell.htm If you're using the Attributes Pane, and you have Auto-Apply checked on, you can just type the values and move to the next attribute. If Auto-Apply is not checked on, you need to click Apply: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/help/editing/edit-feature-attributes.htm Does this help? If not, my next suggestion would be contact Esri Technical Support and show them the issue: https://support.esri.com/en/contact-tech-support Thanks, Scott

Hi Shuhong, I'm assuming you did the following... Select features from the source feature service Copy Paste Special Choose a feature template or layer belonging to the target feature service to paste into > OK ...correct? It should work as long as the target feature service has editing enabled and has the ability to add features. Regarding why Save is grayed out: it's most likely because the service is not registered as branch versioned. If this is the case, you can still made edits, but you cannot undo, redo, save those changes - they are committed to the service as soon as the edit operation is completed. More info here: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/help/editing/add-a-feature-service-for-editing.htm#GUID-E231654B-93FC-4957-A5F4-ABDAC8986553 https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/help/editing/message-edits-made-to-this-layer-cannot-be-undone.htm You can check if this is the case by opening up the Editing Status dialog box. Edit tab > Mange Edits group > click Status. You will see warnings listed here if there are any. Thank you! Scott

Hi Gregory, Thanks for reporting this. We plan on fixing this for ArcGIS Pro 2.5. Note that 2.4 is coming out next, so you'll have to wait a release to see this fixed, unfortunately, but it's definitely on our radar now. Thank you, Scott

Hi Matthew, The behavior is expected since the Split tool will respect the split policy that is defined on the source geodatabase. This is mentioned in the documentation for the Split tool: Split a feature—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop You can check the split policy by right-clicking on the layer in the Contents pane > Design > Domains. The Split Policy will be listed here. It sounds like your data could be set "Default", but perhaps you want to set it to "Duplicate". Thanks, Scott

Hi Robert, In the next release of ArcGIS Pro (2.4) coming soon, you will have the ability to do this with the following Editing tools: Slice Multipatch (new) will split a multipatch feature at a specified location using a horizontal or a vertical cutting plane. In your case, you would set the cutting plane between the individual parts that you want to slice apart. Explode can now separate a multipatch feature into its individual 3D faces, which can then be merged back together if needed. Thank you, Scott

try setting the Feature Weight on the polygon to 1000. From the doc "The feature weights are ranked on a scale of 1-1000. A feature weight of 0 indicates that the feature should be treated as available space, while a weight of 1000 indicates that the feature is considered an obstacle and should not be overlapped by labels." Ok now I can see this video - thanks for posting it. I'm not seeing anything that stands out that would cause it. Are the lines part of a geometric network? have you tried adding the data to blank MXD? I'm assuming you already tried holding spacebar while editing to suspend snapping? Please also consider reaching out to Esri Technical Support ( Esri Support Contact Support ). They may be able to quickly solve this with you over a screenshare.
