Hi Joel, If you are still seeing this issue, please reach out to Esri Technical Support - they can help narrow down the problem. When you hit Save on the Edit tab, any edits you make should be saved to the data (usually a feature class) - regardless if you save the Project or not. Thanks, Scott

Hey Brian, I'm trying to follow... are you saying you have a layer file (or layer package) that was created from a subset of the layers that are required for your group template, and then you add that layer file to a map that contains the remaining set of layers and are expecting the group template to still function? If that's the case, I wouldn't expect it to work. What should work is if you create a layer file (or layer package) from a Group Layer and that and group contains all the layers required for your template to function: Regarding renaming layers and losing group layer functionality (after closing and reopening Pro) - I just tested it and could not* (*edit) reproduce that. Perhaps there is a specific detail that I'm missing? Thanks, Scott

Hi Gerald, Regarding problem #1: We will address this in a future release of Pro. Thanks for reporting it. One workaround would be to make sure to open at least one tool, any tool, from the Modify Features pane first before launching the editing tools on from the quick access toolbar - otherwise you end with the tools being put in the "Active Tool" pane instead of in the Modify Features pane. Regarding problem #2: I tried to reproduce it, but couldn't. This is probably data, scale, or coordinate system specific. The way your reported it doesn't make it seem like it occurs all the time, only specific scenarios, right? Are you able to give details about the coordinate system of the specific layer and the map (they could be different)? If not, let me know and I'll try to figure out the best way to get the info we need. Thanks, Scott

Hi Keith. Try setting an Accelerator so that the paste special command can be activated with another key combination... you can even us CTRL+V (I only tested for this one case, but it seems to work fine so far): Hint: to find the proper command, check the box that says "Show command IDs on Screen Tips". You want the one that says esri_core_editPasteSpecialButton (see below): Does that help? Thanks, Scott

Hi Tyce, The ability to load links from a file allows Pro to be backwards compatible and read displacement link files that were created in ArcMap. Here is a workflow to save links created in Pro: Open the Transform tool. Once it opens, the "Links" layer that the Transform tool reads from is added to the current map. In Transform, click Add new links, and create the links you need. Before committing the current transformation, select the link lines you want to archive, and use Copy (CTRL-C) to copy the links. Then click Paste Special to paste the links to your "archive" links (CTRL+ALT+V). The button for Paste Special is just under Paste when you click the arrow below it. Once pasted, just remember to save your edits. To reuse your saved links: Open the Transform tool. The Links layer is added to the map if it doesn't already exist. Select your archived link lines, and then use Copy/Paste Special (see above) to paste your archived links into the "Links" layer that Transform uses. At that point, select the features you want to transform and click Transform. As long as your saved links are two-point lines, the Transform tool can use those as valid links for the transformation. So you could even create and manage your own links in your own feature classes (and add additional fields and attributes) and then copy subsets of them over to the Links layer when needed. Here is a gif of me creating and copying links to an "archive" layer and subsequently reusing them in the Transform tool. HINT: In the gif I'm holding CTRL while clicking to unselect the polygon: I hope this helps. Thanks! Scott

Hi Justin, I'm glad you got the copy/past special working. Regarding the unit conversion issue, there could be a number of things going on. Since geonet is not the greatest place to troubleshoot and share data, I recommend contacting Esri Technical Support Esri Support Contact Support. If you run into any snags creating a case with Support, let me know. Thanks, Scott

Hi Justin, My current hunch is that the problem is related to the symbology, have you tried to set the multipatches to a filled symbology (try the one below) instead of the "wireframe" looking symbology you are currently using? Thanks, Scott
