When setting up the Input - Receive #flightaware connector, I am wondering if it was intended to allow multiple data types to be requested, each with a Yes/No radio button set? I would love to set up ONE connector to get both Flight Position Data AND Ground Position Data, but don't think the FlightAware server likes this. When I have both marked as "Yes", the FlightAware server seems to ignore me. Has anyone here or in Real-Time & Big Data GIS orTransportation been successful requesting more than one data type in the FlightAware connector? Thank you! --Adam

It turned out to be Video drivers - one of the first things I should have evaluated. The catch is - It was not the one for the NVIDIA card, the one that is used for most of the heavy lifting in Pro. It was the one on the motherboard! I updated the NVIDIA first with no effect. I just updated the on-board video drivers because they were in the list and easily accessible. On a whim, I restarted and ran Pro. It worked! Thanks to all! --Adam

Hello Thomas Colson, I do have the Basemap option set to none as part of my previous troubleshooting efforts. I have tried opening an existing project, opening a new project with a map and opening a new project without a map and then adding a map. In every situation, the map pane just keeps showing its status as Loading. I have done a lot of troubleshooting of Esri product and have never encountered SDEINTERCEPT. The link you gave me does describe a procedure, but it fails to tell me where I can find SDEINTERCEPT or how to run/enable it. I did find this link: How To: Set up an SDEINTERCEPT log file on a client machine for ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Server and am trying it now.... The only way that I can copy a Map (or paste) is to Close the existing map by right-clicking the map's tab and selecting Close. With no Maps attempting to load, I can paste the copy of another map from another project into the Catalog's Maps folder. I then open that copy and get the same results. Interestingly - if I again right-click the map tab and select Close, I can then close Pro without killing in Task Manager. ***But it takes a good minute to close*** SDEINTERCEPT shows no report in its logfile when I open a new project with a map. Now, when I do the copy process, it creates log entries. I'm not sure how to interpret the logs. Calling technical support today. --Adam

Thank you Kory Kramer, I switched the basemap option to None (along with the last suggestion of clearing cache) with no change in results. Off Network? Same story. I think you are right about going to technical support. --Adam

It allows string and integer types to be searched. When we have to control input of a field, we must use coded domains. When we need to search something in a web map or in an application.... Let’s get it in here.

Kory Kramer - thanks for responding... Kory Kramer wrote: This isn't normal or expected (obivously!). If everything is default, it will try to load an online basemap, so I suppose it could get hung up there, but again, not like you're describing. Yes. Default Options. Kory Kramer wrote: Since you mentioned changing portals, how many portals do you have set up and are they a mix of ArcGIS Online and Enterprise? Have you checked all of them to make sure they're accessible? I had one Portal, two different ArcGIS Online Organizations and the standard www.arcgis.com listed as Portals. Logged into each and all were available. I later deleted all but the ArcGIS Online Organization that Pro gets its licensing from... Kory Kramer wrote: Did you shut the machine down, restart and get the same behavior? Yes. I did. I even removed the program and reinstalled it. No change. I changed the default basemap in my ArcGIS Online Organization. I saw that change in the Contents pane after closing Pro, re-opening it and creating a new project. Still no map showing. I just recalled that yesterday, the IT people remotely installed a Windows 10 update - to version 1809. --Adam

Hi Everyone, (this is Pro v2.4.1) Yesterday afternoon, I just opened an ArcGIS Pro project and saw this... ...for 15 minutes. I could change Portals, look through the Catalog, change Portals - but the Map never loaded. I had to open Task Manager and kill the app. ArcGISCleanup was running too. I created a new project and encountered the same thing. It doesn't crash, it just never loads a map. Has anyone else seen this behavior - or have a solution? Thanks, --Adam

Best regards, -Peter Good Morning Peter Klingman, No - I have not found a way to store credentials with referenced items in Distributed Collaboration. Thank you for describing your testing workflow. I believe that I did the same thing the other day. I also tested the other storing credentials piece you mentioned (not in a collaboration) and it worked wonderfully. Thanks! --Adam

Peter Klingman wrote: ... As I noted above, I think that storing ArcGIS Online credentials with an item collaborated to Portal, thereby enabling only a Portal login to access a secured Hosted Feature Layer or View in ArcGIS Online, would be a valid idea for the ArcGIS Ideas site: ArcGIS Ideas. Thanks, Peter Peter Klingman, So this feature would be like how Portal already stores credentials for things like Living Atlas content from ArcGIS Online? It already allows for storing logins when setting up the Collaboration.... --Adam

Hi Aleksandra Zietara, I did update my Portal to 10.7 - and I made sure that the username I was entering for ArcGIS Online to access my portal was correct - DOMAIN\userID. Everything worked after that. No issues at all.

Thank you for the information Peter Klingman, Wondering then, with the collaboration between my Portal for ArcGIS and my ArcGIS Online Organization: Does my user in Portal (who has a seat in Portal) ALSO need credentials in ArcGIS Online to access that referenced layer? --Adam

Unbelievable that this wasn't a standard feature from the beginning. Just now started collecting images through Survey123, and would have done it another way if I had known that this feature was not available yet.

I am attempting to copy data from an ArcGIS Online organization to an ArcGIS Enterprise Portal for ArcGIS. I have a collaboration set up that does work, where the guest (Portal) sends and receives. My problem: A feature layer that originates in AGOL which is editable AND keeps track of who edits or updates - has its attributes for Creator, CreationDate, Editor, and EditDate updated with the time of the Collaboration Sync and the Collaboration Sync User name. I need to keep all of that information as it was in the original AGOL data. How do I accomplish this? I have tried to create a different view layer of it, and shared that to the collaboration. I can't tell the view layer to not keep track of who created and last updated features because it is grayed out: Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, --Adam
