Adding multiple related records to a feature in ArcGIS Pro is a pain in the butt. I would create a record and start entering values, and the same values would be applied to other related records as well. I finally was able to stop this behavior by adding a new record, clicking a different related record, then clicking the record to edit before entering attributes. I don't think I should have to do that. (BTW, this is all being done in the attribute window.) Any tips or tricks to make life easier? [UPDATE:] I figured out what's going on. When I add a new record, it's not automatically selected: the global attribute form is still showing, and I wasn't noticing that. So I can at least save one mouse click by selecting the new record instead of selecting a different record first.

I may be barking at the moon for help on this one, but once in a blue moon, the GenerateGeodatabaseAsync task succeeds but the CopyToAsync step fails. The client ends up with a zero size GDB and the app crashes with the following exception: "Item not found in the database. (Table, domain, relationship class, etc.) : gpkg_contents." I think it's a network glitch, but if anyone has any insight on this issue I'd really appreciate it.

I've noticed that the Trace Geometric Network geoprocessing tool does not honor complex edges: if an barrier is placed on an edge feature between junctions, the entire feature is disabled, rather than treating just the sub-edge as disabled. This is not consistent with tracing behavior using the Utility Network Analyst toolbar in ArcMap, or using a TraceSolver in ArcObjects. Has anyone else noticed this, and/or found a workaround?

FYI, it's only happening for me on Windows 7 machines; it works fine in Windows 10. It's also in Windows 7 that I see a variety of stability issues, such as the project failing to save if I so much as look at it cross-eyed. I think ArcGIS Pro has some core issues with Windows 7.

Well, the tool doesn't crash in 1.3, but even on a small cache it hangs indefinitely, and even after closing I have to kill the ArcGISPro process in task manager. Looks like I'll have to reopen the tech support incident.

I'm quite impressed by the Create Mobile Map Package tool: the data model appears perfectly preserved, including the geometric network and relationship classes. One thing I noticed, however: when I limit the export to a display extent, all records are exported from related tables instead of just related records. Are there any plans to add an "Export Related Records" option? Also, are there plans to support annotation? Our Gas division doesn't use it, but the Electric division uses it heavily.

I can't post anything to the Quartz Beta forum. Is it locked down?

Has anyone been able to get ExportTileCache_management to work in ArcGIS Pro 1.2? I have no problem using it in Desktop 10.4 arcpy, but Pro 1.2 arcpy gives the error "ERROR 999999: Error executing function" no matter what I try.

ArcGIS Pro at 1.2 is not yet a mature product. I also ran into this problem, and it's annoying. It would be nice if Esri updated the ArcGIS Pro geoprocessing tools to accept the active map or a map file (MAPX) instead of MXD.

I haven't started playing with any of the Runtime Quartz Betas yet, but I have been playing around with mobile map packages, specifically creating them in ArcGIS Pro and then reimporting them. At this year's DevSummit, a lot of people were touting mobile map packages as replacing map packages. The support for complex vector symbols seems to be there, which is a BIG improvement over existing Runtime content. However, I'm seeing some gaps. Specifically, annotation feature classes and raster datasets are not supported. Yes, I can replace a raster dataset with a tile package. But as much as I'm trying to get users away from annotation classes, the lack of support for them could seriously hurt the users' willingness to adopt mobile map packages in order to get away from local server. I know that Esri is working hard on a utility network model that's compatible with mobile map packages. Is there any effort planned to support annotation?

If I had a dime for every time I had a "SaveProjectAsync" failure, or a random geoprocessing tool failure, I could easily eat at the fanciest restaurant in town. Seriously, Esri really needs to work on stability issues here.

I can make a mobile map package without a basemap just fine, so I'm not sure exactly what problem you're running into.

I'm running into an error with CreateMobileMapPackage: ERROR 999999: Error executing function. Item with the same path name already exists. Failed to execute (CreateMobileMapPackage). I'm targeting an empty folder, so it's not the obvious "check to see if the mmpk already exists" issue. I also created a different map package with different layers referencing the same feature class, so that's not the issue either. Before I tap tech support's shoulder, I thought I'd see if anyone else had encountered this error and figured out what's going on. Update: I created a package with two layers having the same name, so that's also not an issue.
