I'd like to see a WAB widget which would function like the historical imagery slider in Google Earth. You specify any number of images to the widget and then the slider in the tool would allow a user to quickly change imagery for the web map they are looking at.

You might try googling "obfuscate code javascript" and see if anything there might meet your needs. There are some paid options but also some free options. I haven't used them, though. Of course, the largest downside will be a whole new layer of complexity & overhead for your projects & maintaining them.. EDIT: Nice link about obfuscating code & some of the pros/cons about it

How about embedding your story map using an iframe? See this ESRI blog post (and maybe utilize tip #1 to make it fit more seemlessly into your site design).

I don't really think that the Storymap is responsible for this but I'd suggest building a new sitemap and submitting it to Google.

There is an inconsistency with respect to colors available within ArcGIS Online. While the same color options are present when changing colors for polygon outlines & fills, only a reduced color palette is available when attempting to change the color of label masks. The full range of colors should be available across all symbology dialogs within AGOL. I'd also like to lobby for the addition of user input of hexadecimal values. There already is an Idea submitted for this here. Palette available for feature symbology: Palette available for feature labels:

In AGOL, you simply add the imagery basemap as a new layer to your map (Search For Layers->"World imagery"). When you click the map, the infoWindow will tell you the acquisition date, source, etc of the imagery.

If your organization hordes older ArcGIS distribution install media, you may defer back to the ESRI Maps & Data DVDs which contained a "detailed" street layer for North America and included addresses. It will be old but it won't cost you credits. Reference link #1 Reference link #2. Steve

If you haven't seen this already, here's an ESRI blog post which provides guidance about hosting your own story map. I haven't done this yet myself, though.

Maybe this will work for you: In Arcmap, select your polyon and bring up the Edit Vertices toolbar. Click the Edit Sketch Properties button (far right button on the Edit Vertices toolbar in my screenshot). This will bring up a dialog with a sequential list of vertices for the selected feature. You can right-click on a vertex and there is a Pan To function. Steve

The mouse over event also gives you a map point object so you could query your census layer while inside the neighborhood mouse over event for the pertinent information and then add it to your side panel along with the neighborhood information.

As Joe Citizen, I'm not sure you'll get that information due to privacy concerns but your local Emergency Management department would likely have compiled that information since they compile damage estimates for FEMA (which, in turn, may lead to a disaster declaration and ultimately financial assistance). The local Health Department might also have this information but the same privacy concerns may apply.
