Hi Community, I'm trying to add associations with a REST call and got stuck when trying to identify the 'networksourceid' in the TO/FROM attributes of body. I'm hoping there is either a table of ids I can reference or that this is identified somewhere else. When I reviewed previous association adds and deletes, the networksourceid I saw in the calls didn't line up with expectations. Meaning, I expected the ids to be the same as the layer index in the feature service. They are not. Help and guidance are much appreciated!

@MikeMillerGIS , Yep, I think this is the best route. I found last night while digging through something else. It solves the issue with globals and gets my data to the right version. I'm using FME to write to the feature service/version which must be making the apply edits call for me. Now I just have to figure out how to work with associations via the API since I don't seem to be able to with the FME Portal writer. Much appreciated.

Hi community, I have a new set of data in an asset package that I would like to copy to a dedicated version in my electric UN. The asset package has a schema similar to my published UN. I have a CSV of associations that also need to be imported. The trouble is that I need to preserve the global ids of my asset package features upon import. This keeps my CSV of associations relevant. If the globals change, my associations file is useless. I tried the Append GP tool but received the following error: WARNING 000594: Input feature 1: Function not implemented. https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/tool-errors-and-warnings/001001-010000/tool-errors-and-warnings-00576-00600-000594.htm The error doesn't seem to describe my issue. If I choose not to 'Preserve GlobalIDs' in my environments settings, the Append works. Disabling network topology doesn't make a difference here either. Same error. After disabling network topology I can write to the database directly and Append as intended. But this writes to the DEFAULT which is really not going to work for what I need. So, is it possible to append to a UN and preserve globalids? If so, what is recommended. Thanks

@TanuHoque , no worries. I can certainly share the data. The data is huge. What is the best method to ship it off?

@BruceHarold , I have successfully connected to my Portal and found the feature service I want to use. But when I go to generate a list of layers or find branched versions, the wheels just spin. It never seems to retrieve what I need. I've tried this on many different feature services. You help is much appreciated!

Hi Community, I'm having an issue using 'Select by Location' in Pro between a shapefile and a view created in SSMS based on census blocks. I am successful in performing a Select by Location on the original blocks. But when contained in a view, no luck. I certainly feels like something I'm missing in the view. Many related posts here are older and a fresh response felt like the next step. Thanks, @DanPatterson and @PaulLeBlanc1 . I figured you two might respond. Sounds like I'm good to go. @DanPatterson, I think I understand your question... yes, I am looking for the AGS extension as opposed to a fGDB with at UN. Suppose I have a client that doesn't run a common distro. Am I out of luck? Please know that I'm barely treading water here. Let's call Linux a 2021 new years resolution for me so it's right at the end of my mental reach at the moment 😉

It was a little surprising but I couldn't find any posts here on Linux setups. As-in, I searched the whole community for Linux and utility network it turned up really light. I'm wondering about the viability of standing up a Linux-based ArcGIS Enterprise implementation and it's limitations with the Utility Network Extension, if any. I've sifted through a bunch of documentation and this seems totally reasonable. Nothing is jumping out at me that says the UN extension can't be enabled on a Linux install of AGS. I'm less concerned with the flavor of Linux at this point. More concerned with the lack of presence of this topic in the community. Did I miss something? Please send me a "Duh, it's right here..." link if you have it! Or preferably, some of your experiences. Thanks!

Same issue here as well. Map frame borders are still good though. We are currently checking other projects side-by-side between 2.6 and 2.7 but what we know for sure is that all projects created from one of our templates and before the upgrade to 2.7 have some gremlins. Our workaround for missing map elements is to simply cut and paste. No deletion required. But, we do end up needing to shift everything back into it's proper place. In all, we have noticed the following errors: Layout lines and polygons not exporting to PDF Not all legend items have the option for 'New Column' but they did in Pro 2.6 The result is that our legend items are not where they are supposed to be and have run over their frame graphics we drew. There could be more and I'll edit the post to reflect anything else we find. Bug status is 'high'

After creating a utility network for my electric network, I noticed that the typical point, line and polygon error layers don't seem to exist. If I open a pro session and right-click the UN in my database and choose to 'Add to New Map' I only get the Dirty Areas polygons. As expected, if I try to publish the UN without the error layers I get: 24099: The web layer being published cannot be consumed by ArcGIS Pro without all the Utility Network layers being present I haven't recreated the UN yet, but I was hoping this community might have some insight before I do. Thanks! ArcGIS Pro 2.6 Enterprise 10.8.1 SQL Server 14.0.3335.7

Hi Tanu Hoque, I'm sorry, due to the sensitive nature of the data, I am unable to provide data or maps in this forum. I will reach out to support and create a ticket. If we get to a resolution, I'll post the finding here!

I recently published a map image layer to my enterprise environment (10.8) and noticed that my label classes are either not appearing or displaying differently than I designed in ArcGIS Pro (2.5.0). I am using Arcade for my label expressions. I have two label classes on one layer that was published. They are: Diameter and Material The feature class is using coded domains for pipe diameter and material. So code of 6 has a description of 6". The double quote being the notation for inches and is a key component in the label. In addition to pipe diameter I have also added pipe material to the label. I split the description string for material to just use an abbreviation. For example, I have a pipe diameter code of 6 = 6" and material code of 83 = Cast Iron - CAS. My Arcade expression is: DomainName($feature, 'diameter')+" "+Split(DomainName($feature, 'material'),' - ',2 )[1]; In Pro, I see 6" CAS Length This label uses the STLength of the feature and a Round function to make it easier to read and adds a single quote to denote length are in feet. My Arcade expression is: Round($feature['SHAPE.STLength()'],1)+"'" In Pro, see 107.6' What I end up with after publishing removes the double quote and does not display the second label class at all. I'm guessing that the double quote has to do with Arcade constants. So if I use the code and not the DomainName function and TextFormatting.DoubleQuote instead, that it might help the Diameter and Length label class. But what about the second label class? I can't seem to find much about multiple label classes and map image layers. Thanks!
