At this stage, Map Viewer Beta has fairly limited functionality when it comes to Map Image Layers as per this document: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/reference/limitations-and-compatibility-mv.htm The search for layers tool seems to be working for hosted features or referenced features as well, does your account / org rely soley on map image layers? Map viewer beta is expected to come out of beta by ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.1, at which point parity with the current map viewer is expected to be achieved.

If you have a city field in your data, you should be able to filter the dataset to Paris using PowerBI's build in filters: see the following https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/power-bi-report-add-filter

Hello there John! I am not sure about using the gMSA account at the Enterprise Builder level, but you should be able to configure that account post install. I am referring to the following documentation: https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/server/latest/administer/windows/the-arcgis-server-account.htm (search for Group managed service account). Seems like after the installation, you should be able to use the ServerConfigurationUtility to configure this type of account.

@DavidColey So I took a look at https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-enterprise/announcements/map-viewer-beta-in-arcgis-enterprise-10-9/ and in it, we see this: " If you are upgrading from a previous version of ArcGIS Enterprise (ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1 or before) without the new Map Viewer, follow the steps in the above section. However, if you are upgrading from ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1 and already have the new Map Viewer installed, follow these steps: Upgrade ArcGIS Enterprise (including the Portal for ArcGIS component) to 10.9. Upgrade the new Map Viewer to 10.9 by running the installer linked above in this blog. Install the 10.9 version on the same machine(s) where Portal for ArcGIS is installed. The installation will take approximately 15-20 minutes and will automatically restart your portal service, so you may want to run the installation during off hours if it is important for your Enterprise portal to not experience any interruptions. Any maps and content created and saved in Map Viewer Beta will remain in your organization and will not be affected by upgrading. For more information on upgrading, please see the help documentation on the Esri Community post."

I would set the logs to debug and try again (remember to do this is settings, not at the filter, then turn them off after investigating). Could you give me any more info about the application you are using?

Have you tried republishing the feature ensuring that no scale setting are set at the map pane or the publishing pane? Also what is the source of this data, is it hosted?

A good place to start would be to check Chrome developer tools while reproducing the error. This should reveal if there are any errors. Additionally, is this feature layer made up on a single service? Does that service have any other extent parameters set? (At the service level, or while publishing)

When you run into this error, do you see any logs being generated at the ArcGIS Server level?

Hey there, I took a look at the GPS in question, and was not able to find a way to sync these routes onto the GPS's. Theoretically, you could load them onto the GPS using Garmin's software and some shapefiles (source: did something similar with handheld Garmin's back in college) but I'm not sure if this is supported with this particular unit. If they support the standard NMEA outputs, you could have the GPS running in Tracker (or Field apps) to show where the user is within the ArcGIS suite of products. I'm just not sure if there is any interplay between ArcGIS and Garmin at this time. Hope this helps!
