Hello Kylie, Creating your own basemap in GDA2020 (Projected or geographical) will mean that you need to 1) Define your own tiling scheme for that basemap. Yes this is different to the global basemaps as they are all in WGS84 Web Mercator Auxiliary Sphere. The traditional tiling scheme for the global basemaps is defined if you choose the ArcGIS Online tiling scheme. (Generate Tile Cache Tiling Scheme) 2) Use this tiling scheme as the definition for your basemaps. (Manage Tile Cache). NOTE: I would consider using Vector Tile Packages as they are more efficient and faster to create and update. 3) Package the tile cache for loading to ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise by using the Export Tile cache tool 4) Once you have this basemap package then you publish to ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise using the Share tools 5) You can use this as you basemap but everything you place on-top of it now will be projected to GDA2020. You cannot add other global basemaps behind as they are in WGS84 Web Mercator Auxiliary Sphere but the map will be in GDA2020. 6) From this you should be able to add the WMS capability (Which includes the WMTS for cached basemaps). Also good suggestion on the GeoNet for creating a GDA2020 discussion group I will look into this Cheers Gordon

Hello Nic, In the Mosaic dataset on the defaults tab there is a setting "Maximum number of Rasters Per Mosaic" by default this is set to 20. Recommend increasing this to 200. You should then see all of your rasters Gordon

I have a calculated field in my survey123 form. The various inputs from other questions derive the total value in this field. I want to be able to colour the field in the form if it below, between or above values. For example Calculated Below 5 = green Calculated between 5 & 9 = orange Calculated above 10 = red How can this be achieved in the survey form?

Hello Jose, I have numerous clients who are also asking this. As of today Drone2Map produces output from single missions. My current methodology is to take the outputs from Drone2Map and put them into a Mosaic Dataset in ArcGIS Pro. Then from the Mosaic dataset produce a Tile Package that I can load to ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise. Cheers Gordon

I have a feature Service on ArcGIS Online which his subtyped. When I select a different Subtype the domains for attributes update to reflect the type of subtype. I want to create a Survey123 project from this Feature Service. When I create the Survey123 project it does not list the subtypes and does not list the domains associated with each subtype. The way around this I see is that I need to modify my feature service so that the Subtype becomes a domain. Then I produce filters based on the domain which only show the fields associated with the domain. This though creates extra fields that I would otherwise not need if I could use subtypes? Cheers Gordon

Hello Brandon, You are correct. I have a primary feature class of the feature being surveyed and the Surevy123 feature class. From what I understand there is no facility yet via this methodology to have a standalone table. Cheers Gordon

Brandon, The workflow I used is as follows: Create a new Survey123 project in Survey123connect and load to ArcGIS Online Download the feature service to a file geodatabase In the file geodatabase create your primary feature. Ensure it has a common ID with the survey123 feature class. Create a geodatabase relationship between the primary feature class and the survey123 feature class using the common ID In a Map document add both layers with the Survey123 feature as the first item in the table of contents Publish as a new feature service in ArcGIS Online (The survery123 feature class should be ~/FeatureServer/0) In the Survey123connect app, open the spreadsheet and switch to the settings tab Update the submission_url parameter to match the feature service for the ArcGIS Online Feature Service In the Survey123 project folder delete the .iteminfo file In ArcGIS Online delete the original associated survey123 folder Republish the Survey123 project and it should associate with the specified feature service. Hope this helps Gordon

Hello, i recently had had a client with a similar issue. In this instance the client was able to publish to ArcGIS Online but not Portal. His Portal was missing DataStore. As scene layers require DataStore can I suggest you check if your Portal has DataStore installed. regards Gordon

The drawing widget in Web AppBuilder currently allows a user to make a drawing an operational layer in the map, so other tools can act against the drawings. However, a number of clients have requested the following functionality Persist the drawing between sessions, the ability to send a session drawing to another user to present their ideas or markup save the drawing as .shp, .kml or other GIS format

Hello Patrice, In order to make this work. First of all I created the Survey table, with all the attributes I was looking for. I then downloaded the Survey table in a File Geodatabase. This creates the structure I needed. I then related the Survey table to the feature class I wanted it to work with. Then in ArcMap I added both the feature class and survey table. With the survey table the first item in the table of contents. I then published this to ArcGIS Online. Finally I updated the Survey123 project in access to point to the URL of the published feature service. The key here is I did not try and replicate the Survey123 feature class in ArcMap. I let Survey123 generate the feature service for me then I copied it back to ArcMap and finally republished it. That way everything is as it was designed in Survey123. Cheers Gordon

In Survey123 it is possible to create picklists to make data entry simple. Is there a way that these picklists can be pictures rather than text lists? Cheers Gordon

Hello Mike, I think what a lot of people miss when they ask "what type of drone are you using", is that it is not the drone which is important. I can use practically any imagery with drone2map on the previso that the imagery has a xyz associated with and as an added bonus omega, phi and kappa. If your platform cannot provide georegistered images then generally it cannot be used. As as an example I have been using a 3dr solo with a GoPro. Now by default the imagery from the GoPro and the 3dr solo application is not geo registered. However, if I use the 3dr flight planning software, SiteScan, then the images can be post registered and then used in drone2map. This is the advantage of drone2map it is not tied to any one platform. I hope this helps with the discussion Gordon

Hello, Continuing on from my farms query. I want to place a survey point inside the farm polygon. The survey feature class has 3 common attributes as the farm feature. So when I capture the survey feature I want it to auto-populate the common attributes in the survey feature from the farm feature. Point in polygon scenario. It should recognise I am within the boundary of the farm and populate the owner, paddock ID and crop. Is there a way Survey123 can cross populate this information or can this be post processed on ArcGIS Online? Gordon
