Hello sytsedevries, You did not mention the version of ArcGIS Pro you are using. If it is 2.9 there might be a compatability issue. Cheers Gordon

Hello Nicolas, In these situations where you have mixed image sources, we like to use the “Build Footprints” geoprocessing tool. This effectively sets the extent of each image to the edge of the imagery and does not include padding as you have shown. Then in the Mosaic Dataset “defaults” make the setting “Always Clip Raster to it’s Footprint”. This then ensures that no image appears outside of the image extent. Also, if you have built overviews and they have included the padding, you will have to reconsider rebuilding the overviews as when they are built, they will honour the image footprint extent. Gordon

Hello CaSuárez, Now your sizes of photos is starting to get up there and your possibly reaching the upper limits of what the software can process in on job. Suggestion is to start to incorporate ArcGIS Mosaic Datasets and Image Services into your workflows When the size of the missions do get large it is better to capture missions and process them as they are captured. Then download the output Ortho's into a repository in your designated storage location. You can then either create a Mosaic dataset out of these and publish to ArcGis Enterprise or directly load them to Portal for ArcGIS or ArcGIS Online and create a Tiled Image Service.

CaSuárez You can actually load more that 2500. This is a recommended makimum per mission. You can also load your images into multiple missions and then merge them into one mission as well. So the below screen shot where I have five missions but one final merged product Gordon

Hello Tyler, It might be worth your while trying the same Map in ArcGIS FieldMaps. Collector will be discontinued in the coming months and FieldMaps will be our premier mobile application. As a secondary follow-up if you create your labels in the new Web Map engine and then you view this in ArcGIS field maps you should better compatability between the two environments. Gordon

Hello Mark, Esri hasa comprehsive set of tools for performing spatial aignment and adjustment with the underlying cadastre and related feature laryer in ArcGIS Pro. In fact the adjustment engine is DynAdjust out of DELWP Victoria. This toolset allows you to insert new cadastre/lots, in th eparcel fabric, spatially inprove the parcel layer based on the new surveyed data and then adjust the related administrative datasets as you describe. The following help page on least square adjustment is a good place to start. Cheers Gordon

Hello Keon, Interesting thing I see here is that your RPAS team is having to notify of the new drone imagery before you do all the work. I was interested to know if they knew about the capability to publish directly from Site Scan to ArcGIS Enterprise. This capbility has recently been introduced this year and allows Site Scan to communicate directly with your ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS online sites. All your SIte Scan data, not just the Orthomosaic can be published to ArcGIS Enterprise. Full details on this are found in the Publishing from Site Scan to to ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Entrprise Blog Hopefgully this helps Gordon

Hello Gareth, @GWaltersOZ GeoTriggers has made a come back. In the latest version of the Runtime you can now build geotriggers which provide the Geofencing capability you are after. Thsi blog provides the detail. FieldMaps does not have the capbility today but it is on the roadmap Cheers Gordon

Mervyn, If the DTM from D2M is also failing I wouls suggest a support call. In regards to the elevation in ArcGIS Online I would try a Hosted Elevation layer first and if that does not work then I would try an image service in ArcGIS Online. Either formats should work. Gordon

Mervyn, Definately an odd issue seeing how the Esri Terrain layer works. I can see two things here 1) The Esri terrain is an Image Web Service. Do you have the capacity to publish your elevation source as an Esri Elvation image source? If so try that. 2) Log this one with support. It technically should work if your elevation source is a 32bit raster. Needs to be investigated further by Esri. Cheers Gordon

Andrew, This is an unusual error. The first thing that comes to mind here is the dense factor in the initial processing. I would possibly increase the point density. There may be other factors such asimage overlap, amount of image being processed, surface variablity and the ability to detect tie points. Without some samples and an idea of the flight pattern, it is fairly difficult to diagnose this. Gordon

Hello Mervyn, One of the keys when working in uniform terrain like this is to increase the point density and Point Cloud Densification. I generally Use, Ppint Density: High Point Cloud densification: 9x9 Pixels Also, you get better results in these types of environments by increasing the overlap when flying. Min is 80% forward 70% sideways Cheers Gordon

Hello Julie, How many ground control points did you lay out prior to the flight. In order to obtain accurate elevation data you should have a min of 4 across the flight area but 5 to 7 is desirable. Drones GPS data can be +/- 5m in the XY and any where up to +/-50m in the Z depending on the drone being used. If no GCP is used then actual height may vary across the image

Hello Bryan, Looking at the error your source imagery is ECW. Is this correct? If so then the error is expected as you cannot add ECW images to a services based environment due to licensing restrictions from Hexagon. . You will need to convert them to tiff and then try again. Cheers Gordon
