Hi Jacquie! I haven't seen the behavior you mention where you are getting the streets basemap no matter what basemap you use in your map. Could you share the map with me where you are seeing that, and I'll see what I can learn for the new Collector? The easiest way is to share the map and layers with a group, invite user "Collector4ArcGIS" to the group, and post in this thread the name of that group and map so I know where to look. As to the issues you are having in Classic, is that with the same map, or a different one? Is this all maps you try?

No, this isn't something Collector supports. I'd recommend using other ArcGIS tools to do this once back in the office.

We figured it out! Mike was going into airplane mode to be offline, but hadn't downloaded the map before doing so. So submitting was failing, and he was being left in the dialog for adding the point since his work wasn't saved yet. Once the map was downloaded before going offline, this worked.

Mike Tschudi wrote: The only difference is that I can't send while offline, and so all that I can do is collect one point and modify it over and over again. Could you elaborate on this? What happens when you submit when you are offline? It should work, and store them locally to sync later. If you aren't seeing that, it would be something to look into.

Hi Mike - In your image "stuck.png" it appears that the point didn't submit correctly. Even if you are working offline in a downloaded map area, submit the point, and then it is stored on your device to be uploaded (synced) later once you have a connection. What are you seeing if you submit when you see "stuck.png"? The "Update point" button is about updating the geometry/location of the point, not saving your work.

Yes, you create your layer and relationships, publish that layer to ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise (if you didn't create it in one of them) and then add it to a map. When you tap on the features in Collector, you'll see and be able to interact with the related information. In the Collector documentation, related records are recommended for users who need to keep historical information about their assets -- and some tips for setting up the related table are included in the doc about using ArcGIS Pro to create your layer: Prepare your layer—Collector for ArcGIS | ArcGIS (see the 6th bullet in that list).
