Today I was attempting to create some simple lines and polygons but am unable to finish the feature because when I double click it treats it as a single and continues drawing. F2 also doesn't work, neither does the 'finish' button. I'm using ArcGIS Pro 2.4 and can't see anything that I am doing differently to yesterday yet the problem has appeared! Any help would be most welcomed Update - So it seems that the issue is related to feature classes only in the default geodatabase created when the project was created. I can edit other feature classes from other locations with no issue

The Layer List Widget in Web AppBuilder is fantastic except when I add new layers to my underlying web map they are automatically added to every Layer List. On one particular project I have 10 lists so have to manually go in to turn the layers off in 9 Layer Lists when I add any new layers to the web map. Quite tedious especially when I've added a whole bunch! So, can we either have the default that layers are not automatically added to a Layer List OR an option to decide when we set up our Layer List widget Thank you!

I've been using the fantastic new featureSet function in Arcade expressions but can't quite work out how, if it is possible, to determine the area of one polygon dataset in another. As an example, I have vegetation polygons and I wish to determine how much vegetation is within various boundary polygons using Arcade and custom pop-ups. Any suggestions? Many thanks!

Agree, being able to create several layouts from one map would be fantastic. So much more productive and efficient. A must would also be that each layout could utilise independent definition queries from the same source map. For me, one of the biggest benefits would be that symbology changes would automatically change for all layouts if they were all fed from one map. We should check if this has been added to the ideas list and if not it should be added.

Hi Kory. Thanks for the reply. Following your help I have now gotten this to work. Initially it didn't but... if I changed the fitting strategy to something else then back to 'adjust columns and font size' I was able to move the x and y dimensions independently. As I mentioned, perhaps this is a bug as the original template was loaded from an mxd then saved as a layout? I also tested and a brand new legend works correctly so no issues there! Thanks for helping me as this was a genuine frustration I was having with Pro!

I've been working with Pro as and when I can. Generally I've been happy with things. Now that I have some layout templates in place life is a lot easier. One major issue is creating a legend easily. As mentioned previously a lot of the options are hidden away. Partly this is just something to learn but partly it seems to have gotten harder. The main issue I have with the legend is that when trying to enlarge the legend area I can only expand diagonally. Most of the time I have plenty of space to the right but no more space below but reshaping the box forces expansion across and down. Hopefully there is a simple fix? Maybe it is because I'm bringing in xmd templates to begin with? Any advice would be welcomed David

I have also wondered this through ArcGIS Portal. It can get tricky if the original uploader is busy/away/left. Workarounds result in multiple versions of the service which can get messy and confusing.

The map notes is a really handy feature. Is there a way to add this for editing by other users into Collector and apps??

Hi Doug This now works but I'm having an issue downloading for offline collection in the Collector App. I get an error saying it cannot replicate. Any ideas? I have tested by adding to a map that definitely worked for download previously but get the same issue Any ideas?

Hi Doug I was able to get it to work on a simplified version of the data collection. I think linking the relationship table via ObjectID was probably a mistake. When linking it to something else it worked of in the simple version. I'll try adding in domains again and see if it works still Thanks

I'm working with ArcGIS Portal and attempting to set up relationship tables to create subforms in Collector as per this article...Related Tables – Exploring New Ways to use Collector for ArcGIS | ArcGIS Blog I've managed to get everything loaded and even added one entry to the sub table. When I try and add a second I get this error message when trying to finalise the input "The operation couldn't be completed. Database error has occurred.". My relationship class includes one to many so I'm confused why this doesn't work. Am I missing something, or a setting? Or, is this because Portal, rather than ArcGIS Online, doesn't fully support this feature. If so when will it be available as it would be incredibly useful Thanks

Thanks for your answer Matthias. That would appear to work well but we are hoping to keep everything in one self-contain python script. I'll keep it in mind for other work though

this is the updated code (not sure why the extra empty lines have added, that isn't shown on my screen!), again apologies if I've mess with how it works because we seem to have differing outputs. If it helps at all I'm using Python in PythonWin rather than directly through ArcGIS. Thanks for your help
