Kirk Hayer Have you updated to the March 2017 version of Attribute Assistant? See the What's New section here where it describes: "An enhancement to the Intersecting Feature method, which adds additional search methods to prompt for the start and end of the line or centroid." Attribute Assistant | ArcGIS Solutions Does that help your work?

Thanks for the details. So what you're really asking for is https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-enterprise-ideas/convert-attribute-assistant-to-web-based-server-arcgis-online/idi-p/966942 I'd encourage you to add your vote there if you haven't already. Also, see my comment on that thread. Attribute Rules are coming to ArcGIS Pro in a future release and the idea is that Attribute Assistant-like rules can be written that will work across the ArcGIS Platform. So keep an eye on those as it sounds like it will be what you're looking for.

Please keep an eye on the Attribute Rules functionality coming to a future release of ArcGIS Pro. My understanding is that these rules will be based on the Arcade language (ArcGIS Arcade | ArcGIS for Developers ) meaning that they can be used across the ArcGIS Platform. See the ArcGIS Pro Roadmap for a general idea of when we can expect to see Attribute Rules.

I see from the thread that you contacted Esri Ukraine, but it sounds like they weren't able to work with you? They should be able to log a case on your behalf with Esri Support here in the US. I'll message you separately to get the username you're using to access ArcGIS Online. All comments from the thread above are correct in terms of if you sign in and are only seeing arcgis.com... this is a Public Account. You should have received an activation link which would walk you through the process of creating the ArcGIS Online organization account which is what is needed to manage the Pro license. Again, I'll message you offline and we can see what we can do to help get you up and running!

Thank you for following up with all of the details, Terry. That is definitely very helpful. Did you do all of that troubleshooting in conjunction with Technical Support? Was there a Support Case open for this issue? I'm asking because there is a bug that *might* be causing what you're experiencing, but the issue should first be vetted with support: BUG-000097186: Data displays slower in ArcGIS 10.4 for Desktop.. While that bug is still showing as New to the public, I can say that it is actively being worked on and hopefully there will be a fix soon. You might want to subscribe to it to get updates. Also, have you looked at this thread: Slow - 10.4 Client with Sql Spatial Views Hope the above is of use.

Lucas Murray Take a look at this: http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=80ee1803656745549d9dfdb84c51191a Description Create line from Fclass center (origin) to Fclass border (destination) using ID field. It's also possible to adjust output line length using percent of line length.

Hi Jerry Chase. I wanted to make sure that you were aware of Near tool: choose distance units. You should vote for that Idea if you haven't already done so. Also, Near tool for matching pairs is an Idea about matching pairs (but also check out this tool http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=80ee1803656745549d9dfdb84c51191a ) For the rest of the original Idea, could you please provide more description on the functionality you're looking for so that the user community can determine if they need the same and up vote? See https://community.esri.com/docs/DOC-8266?sr=search&searchId=496a4987-4080-444d-89b2-7a95bd4020af&searchIndex=0 Thanks!

Hi Matthew Boyle, Have you looked into the Attribute Assistant Shape Update methods: Shape updates - Attribute Assistant | ArcGIS Solutions ? These might work to automatically populate polygon area (and then you could trigger an Expression method to convert to Acres, Square Miles, etc. using a conversion: All methods - Attribute Assistant | ArcGIS Solutions ) Check out the X Coordinate and Y Coordinate methods to answer the question about auto-populating Lat and Lon fields All methods - Attribute Assistant | ArcGIS Solutions

Matthew, In relation to the Pro Roadmap, below is how we're thinking about the terms: Near-term: next release or two Mid-term: next two or three releases Long-term: in the plan but we are not certain of the release at this point As far as Parcel Fabric goes, that functionality is planned for some time in 2018. Hope this helps!

Great - I'm glad that I understood that correctly. I think that with the initial description and this little follow up, users will be able to understand the requested functionality so that they can up vote it. However, I'd like to make a friendly suggestion to clarify the Idea's Title to something like Create Editing Templates to set separate Editing Environments including Snapping and Selectable Features. You can change as you see fit, but this might help others find the Idea! See https://community.esri.com/docs/DOC-8266?sr=search&searchId=2c0b48ce-3f4c-412b-ba69-c1afb76d3fd4&searchIndex=1 Cheers, Kory

Hi rborchert Do you mean that you're looking for a way to in essence set up "editing templates" where you could have one editing template with its own snapping environment set, its own selectable layers specified, and associated with its own feature templates? And then you could switch to a different "editing template" that is configured with different snapping settings, selectable layers, etc.?

I split out the Idea so that we can get a better picture of which the community is up voting. The second Idea is now https://community.esri.com/ideas/13236 You can add your vote to that. Thank you!

This Idea was split from Add a Classic View to the ArcGIS Pro GUI originally posted by David Sims Myself, and a cohort of 30 other MSGIS students at CSULB all did an entire class last semester with Pro. What we dislike the most is the Microsoft style ribbon. There are several reasons for this. For one, it is HUGE! It takes up too much real estate. Once you open an attribute table the map is tiny. When I used it with dual monitors I tried to drag the attribute table to the other monitor to get some real estate back, but that made the table crash. Also, toggling between tabs in the ribbon adds unnecessary clicks. Sure, that is just one small click, but when you do it thousands or millions of times a year it adds up to wasted time. The ribbon can only be opened or closed. At minimum it must be changed so it can be resized. Finally, most of us have spent 6 to 8 years of our lives and 50,000 dollars or more to learn ArcMap, or have been using it for years at work. We do not want to start all over.
