Hi Mervyn, Good catch. You're correct that the additional gdb is added to the project because it is part of the template from which you're creating the project. So if you start a blank project (i.e. no template) there is no additional gdb added to the project. You can safely delete the additional database if you want to clean things up. The development team has this issue on their radar and will be working on issues associated with this behavior in coming releases. Cheers, Kory

Testing in the latest build of Pro 2.2 and Select Layer by Attribute on the downloaded service (SQLite feature class) works fine on float and double fields.

Thanks, Grant. Can you email me the .dmp from C:\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Local\ESRI\ErrorReports Send to [email protected]. You should still open a case with tech support, but in the interest of helping to figure this out, send the report. Cheers

OK, edit that last question. I'm testing in the daily build of Pro 2.2 and see that exporting the layout containing imagery maintains the brightness when exported as a jpg. But I see the behavior you're describing when exporting to PDF and TIFF. I will make sure the development team has an issue logged for this. But for now it might be worth joining the Pro 2.2 beta to test your workflows: ArcGIS Pro 2.2 Beta Coming Soon!

[ENH-000113280: Request to adding the functionality to insert object linked from Microsoft Office applications in ArcGIS Pro] is marked as Not In Current Product Plan. Here is the public explanation: Currently, there are no plans to support OLE (objects linked to MS applications) in ArcGIS Pro. To support workflows that previously depended on OLE we are focusing on making improvements from within Pro. For example, we have added an improved table element and are working on improvements to formatting when using copy and paste into text elements from Microsoft Word.

https://community.esri.com/ideas/14566 Splitting based on an existing feature isn't in Pro yet. ArcGIS Pro 2.2 to be released this summer will add split functionality in terms of splitting proportionally and by length. Splitting by existing features will probably come in the following release (2.3).

Hi Royce, I've been in touch with our development team responsible for this area of ArcGIS Pro and they are not able to reproduce the behavior you're describing. Would you be able to open a technical support case to further investigate the issue? It would be a good channel to get us an example folder/file structure that causes this problem. Thank you!

Hugh Round, Stephen Ruhl, Joseph Nunn Michael Johansson can somebody provide a step by step repro case? From the original post I have a Layout set up with a legend with many features linked to the Main data frame, that i spent a lot of time setting up. I then added a second data frame to use as an overview map. The legend still says it is pointing at the main data frame but it seems to have lost all items in the legend layers list. The Legend is now empty (it is not like they have been unticked - there are no items there). Xander Bakker wasn't able to reproduce from that description. He asked me to look and I'm not able to reproduce. Are there certain steps that consistently cause legend items to disappear? As an example: 1. Add a map to an 8.5 X 11in landscape layout. 2. Add a legend. 3. Add the same map to the layout. 4. BUG: Notice that legend items disappear. Is everybody now using ArcGIS Pro 2.1.2 and still seeing this behavior? Could you send a project package (the smallest example possible, does this happen with as few as 1 layer, 2 layers, etc.)? Please email to [email protected] Thanks

The devil might be in the details with this one. I did a quick test on the offline data with the Select Layer by Attribute query being ObjectID is equal to 1. Works fine. So may depend on the query along with potential limitations with SQLite DB like you said, but we couldn't know unless we know the query. Can you share that?
