Editing is always available in Pro but starting to edit something is still an intentional act. Maybe what Matthew meant is that there were unsaved edits. With unsaved feature edits, you can still add a field to the schema, you just can't save that until your edits are first saved. Henry Zhuhanzhen if you just click on Add from the attribute table, it should automatically open the Fields View and set you up to add a new field. Does that not work for you?

Cheyne, I looked at the issue internally here and can see that the fix is in place for ArcGIS Pro 2.2. I apologize for the delay on this but you should have this working with the 2.2 release. Thank you.

Sorry, Jason. Now might be a good time to open a case with technical support. We'll probably need to do some toubleshooting specific to the locators. Cheers.

ArcGIS Pro 2.1.3 is now available. This is a minor patch release on top of ArcGIS Pro 2.1. You can get more information about what is included in this release at http://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/get-started/release-notes.htm Now would also be a great time to take a minute to read up on how the major.minor.patch versioning scheme works in ArcGIS Pro if you're not already familiar.

You are also able to drop an interactive point from Pro's Buffer tool: Drop your point or points and then run the tool with your chosen parameters.

Let's try this. Go to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\ESRI\ArcGISPro.exe_StrongName_yhpsrysqpn4fvmb0spwbakt5o5e50din\2.1.0.0 (your folder will be named a bit differently), copy the user.config file from there and place it somewhere else for safe keeping. Then delete the user.config from that location and re-launch ArcGIS Pro. Is there still a problem? If the problem persists, you can put the original user.config back into that location. This may be way out there, but what antivirus are you running on the machine? If the user.config reset doesn't yield any results, maybe try to isolate by disabling antivirus and testing the behavior.

Hi Joel, I wanted to close the loop with you on this one. With the repro provided from your mpk, we were able to isolate the issue and we've confirmed that it is fixed in ArcGIS Pro 2.2. I apologize that you've experienced this in 2.1, but we'll have it fixed in the coming release. Cheers

Thanks for the clarification. You can edit the "Baghlan" text itself, but yes, you do have to click the Annotation edit tool to activate it. The idea is open for voting:)

You could maintain a feature class of your geographic data (building features so probably either polygons or points, correct?) Because these are just storing the features, we won't duplicate those. The attributes at different times can be maintained in a separate table in the same geodatabase, with a field that is used to relate each time record to its corresponding feature. A good example is given here Examples of queries with the Make Query Table tool—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop for ArcMap and the same principles can be applied in ArcGIS Pro. Cheers
