Like that item says, "You can add this layer to a web map and save as your own map." So in ArcGIS Online (signed in to your organization account - same that you use in Pro) add the layer to a web map and save it. Now in Pro, look at your Portal content (refresh if it doesn't show up right away): You can see that it is there. Right-click > Add and Open. It adds the web map to the Pro project. I suppose this isn't 100% necessary, but its the quickest way I found to get the layer that we want without hunting around through online items. Switch over to your Project tab, right-click Maps > New Basemap: Now drag and drop the Black and White layer into your newly created basemap. Name appropriately: Now you can add data to it. You can also go into the project options and set that to be used for new maps and scenes: So now when I add a new map into my project that is what it uses: Hopefully this helps!

Thanks for sharing, Jeff. I don't suppose you'd have a project with a "bad" layout anymore?!?!

Hi Adrian, If you go to that ErrorReports folder and look at the size, how big are the .dmp files you're seeing? So you're seeing a message that it can't be sent through the web service? When you say you've tried to email, you mean as described here: Report software errors—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop "By default, error reports are sent to Esri through a web service. However, if you don't have Internet access when the error occurs, you can attach the report to an email and send it later [email protected]. Error report files have the extension .dmp and are saved to the application data location on your local hard drive, typically C:\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Local\ESRI\ErrorReports. The 10 most recent reports are saved."

Thank you for sharing your use case, Stephen. I'm glad to see the planning towards moving solutions into ArcGIS Pro. Just a quick clarification that, while 10.6.1 is the current version of Desktop, it won't be the final version. 10.7 will be released probably in March of 2019. Cheer

Paul. What version of ArcGIS Pro are you running? 2.2.3 is the most current. You said you're encountering exactly the same issue. So every time you add a map to a project, any project, Pro crashes? How do you have your Map and Scene options set up in Application > Map and Scene? Can you zip up and attach the associated dump files from the crash? Those can be found in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\ESRI\ErrorReports and you can determine the date and time from the filename: Or email them to me at [email protected] Thanks

For the part about Calculate Adjacent Fields being "deprecated," its just that it hasn't made it into ArcGIS Pro yet. The good news is that it will be in the 2.3 release coming in early 2019: For the part about the grid being "skewed" can you provide some more details about what that means and screenshots to see if that helps anyone on the forum work on it? Cheers, Kory

Here is my interpretation of the issue: Is that the problem? You want the W and the E to read correctly? What about the N and the S? Or... maybe that isn't the issue. A screenshot would be great!

From the documentation that Dan sent (Extrude features to 3D symbology—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop ) which extrusion type are you using? Do you have a screenshot of what you see in addition to an explanation of what is wrong about that and what you would like to see?

Sunny, if you give us a few more details about what consistently causes an Error 999999 (i.e. what is the data type of the target field, data type of source field, if Text, what is the character length, etc.) it would be good for us to take a look. Thanks
