Calvin, we have a couple of developers actively investigating this issue. 1. Is your system running English or non-English locale? 2. We think you have a font installed called Gulim, and there may be a ttc and ttf. When you check your system Fonts, do you see multiple installs of that font? 3. Try removing the ttf from the Fonts folder and let us know what happens. Thank you

For this specific use case, have you looked at the multiple definition query behavior that was added at Pro 2.3? What's new in ArcGIS Pro 2.3—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop https://community.esri.com/community/arcgis-ideas/blog/2019/01/17/ideas-in-arcgis-pro-23 see 7:56 for a quick demo on the drop-down behavior. Also, as a tip, regardless of the underlying query, if the queries Share the same name, you can multi-select layers, and using the dropdown will toggle the queries across all layers selected in the Contents. Again, not sure this would meet the specific need, but wanted to share the thought.

Calvin, When you're able to, go back to Pro 2.3 and after upgrading, the FontEngineV6 folder from \Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\ESRI\FontEngineV6 Then launch Pro 2.3 again and let us know if the crash still occurs. Thanks

Sorry that you're running into this, Cheyne, and thank you for pointing it out. We're able to reproduce the behavior so I've logged the following bug: [BUG-000119926: When Measure tool is added to another ribbon through the Customize the Ribbon options , with Select tool active, clicking in an attribute table highlights Measure tool in ribbon, and switches Select tool to Explore tool functionality.] If you would like to be attached to this bug for tracking purposes, please DM me or email [email protected] with your customer number. Thank you.

Thanks for flagging me Dan Patterson Calvin, glad you aren't seeing the crash anymore. If you crash and it isn't consistently reproducible, the best thing is to submit the error report with a valid email address and description. More on that here: ArcGIS Desktop Error Reporter Learns Its Manners If you ever experience a crash that IS reproducible (i.e. do these steps, crashes every time) that should definitely be submitted to technical support as a bug. These are the easiest for development teams to fix. Cheers

Thanks, Leo. From the .dmp that you shared here, I can say that it looks like the team will be able protect against the crash on startup and a fix would be provided in an update (patch). We of course never want our customers to experience crashing, but if it does happen, please help us by always including a valid email address and as much as possible, a description of steps that lead to the crash when you submit the error reports. More on that in ArcGIS Desktop Error Reporter Learns Its Manners Thanks again

Hi Jason, Sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues when editing. I checked on that support case and it is showing that updating the graphics driver fixed the issue. If that is not the case, it would be worth continuing to troubleshoot as we have not heard of editing slowdowns caused by updating to 2.3.

Oops. That's not supposed to happen. I checked with our team here and this is a regression; so sorry about that. We'll work to make sure it is fixed in an upcoming release/patch. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

Thanks, Leo. I'm assuming this is not consistently reproducible? I've run the report through our analyzer and we'll make sure that it gets to the right dev team to investigate.

Peter - sorry you're running into an issue packaging. Are you able to create a map package rather than a project package? And then a separate pagx file? Just wondering if there is any way for us to get a better idea of the actual map and layout structures so we can investigate. Thanks

You should just be able to grab the handles and drag to scale the image: If that isn't working, try in a new map or project, see what happens and report back.

I've tried again, set the map to FIPS 3402 No transformation (no data in map yet) When I add GCS WGS 84 data multipart polygon feature class, no crash. But I see that a transformation is automatically applied: Does the crash you're seeing happen with any data? Or only this specific data? If specific, is it possible to share it for the purposes of isolating the cause of the crash? [email protected]
