Thanks for the response Chris.  I tried adding those lines to the mapdiv itself, which then overflowed and scrolled within the iframe.  that still didn't scroll the whole parent frame though.  I added it to the styling for the iframe and iframe wrapper div within my CMS as well to no avail.  ... It is interesting that you just brought this up, because I was just recently asked to look at this application again (2 years later) and to get it up and functioning.  While I have not been able to get any kind of notification system that works into our ticketing system, I have devised three workarounds:  I have a report file (.rlf) that I have designated someone to run through arcmap weekly, monthly, etc. This will report on all data currently in the ServiceRequest feature class.  This also pulls in the comments table.  Only downside here is that you lose the mapping component.  For my users that are a little more arcmap-familiar, I have added the ServiceRequest data layers in an mxd for them to view.  Then they can view the raw data at their convenience.  I can also then give editing access to the users who will be responsible for updating status and responding to requests through the application. My third workaround is in progress, but I am envisioning having a scheduled python script look through the data and send off an email when something new comes in.  Basically the workflow would be something like: Run a search cursor through the ServiceRequest feature class to check the date stamp on all records, and match to the day's date.  Return those results through an array Populate an email body with those results, and use Python's SMTPLIB to blast out an email to the involved parties.  You could even have it send to different recipients based on the request category of the record.   I would schedule this script to run once or twice per day, to catch any incoming requests.  Not perfect solutions, but I think I can make them work.  That said, I would really prefer to have a more concrete solution from ESRI.  I'm curious what others have done to make this work for them.  Once I get this script finished, I will gladly share it.  ... Actually, now that I think back on my process, I don't believe that I used X-ray to bring the model into SDE.  I created an empty file geodatabase, and used X-ray to load in the schema and set the spatial references on the datasets.  I then brought all of my necessary data into that geodatabase.  From there I just brought over each individual dataset that I needed into my SDE database.  Like I said, it wasn't a very straightforward process, but it got me where I needed to be. ... Yes, I believe that was the document the broken link was supposed to be pointing to, albeit the 10.1 version.  Other considerations would be to get your users setup in the enterprise environment.  Are you planning on using any of the Local gov applications?  If so, I would look specifically at documentation for the ones that you are interested in, and see what data access requirements they will have for the database user.  Some applications only need a data reader, whereas others need write-permission.  As for getting the actual schema into the enterprise database, ESRI would recommend using the "X-Ray" tool found here: http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/localgovernment/10.2/index.html#/Migrating_your_data_to_the_Local_Government_geodatabase/028s00000049000000/ This will import the XML schema as well as allow you to set a spatial reference for your datasets.  My experience with this was rather frustrating, but in the end, it did what I needed it to.  Perhaps they have updated the tool by now. ... Hello Brian, Just to clarify, are you having issues getting both basemaps to show up in your application?  If so, the issue might lie in how you cached your own basemap.  In order for these two cached services to run side by side, they need to use the same tiling scheme. To check this, you can open up both REST endpoints (ESRI's cached basemap service and your own cached basemap), and compare the details found under "Tile Info:".  These need to match.  When publishing my own cached basemaps to work with ESRI cached basemaps, I always select "ArcGIS Online/Bing Maps/Google Maps" for the tiling scheme. This seems to match up with what ESRI uses, and makes the basemaps usable together. I've attached a jpg showing where to set this in the service editor.
