@MollyMoore Just a hunch, but can you try deleting your visualization cache (project->options, go to display tab, click the button to Clear Cache Now, hit OK and see if that fixes the issue with feature services not drawing?

Unfortunately this was a known issue related to PDF encoding at 3.0 final. You will need to apply the latest service pack for ArcGIS Pro (3.0.1) to resolve this limitation - you can get it from the updater in ArcGIS Pro or from my.esri.com

Alan, We did not see this in our extensive testing of this fix (this testing involved 3 teams) - can you send us the lyr files (as well as let us know which fonts your labels are using)? If you email me at jeremy_wright@esri.com I can send you an ad-hoc FTP server to transfer these assets to. Regards, Jeremy W.

@BenC5 thanks for your inquiry. At Andrew's behest we (the ArcGIS Pro graphics engine team) have investigated your repro case and after a reread of your question above this behavior and appearance are working as you have specified in the layer properties. Why? If you request that a polygon be placed "on the ground" then each of its vertices will be on the ground (whatever that elevation is) and the polygon itself will be triangulated to allow for this. This will necessarily result in a non-flat polygon for most cases with any elevation variation at all. You can use the coordinate readout in ArcGIS Pro to see the elevation at each vertex of your polygon. If the same polygon is extruded using modes other than "absolute", then the top of the extruded volume will also be non-flat. You will see small thin triangles to account for the changes in elevation between vertices just as you would if the polygon were not extruded. If you want to follow best practices for creating water polygon features, your best bet would be to use the 3D Basemap Solution tools as demonstrated here: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/gertvanmaren_arcgis-esri-digitaltwin-activity-6960112829840375808-jYf8?utm_source=linkedin_share&utm_medium=member_desktop_web Give that a look, and please let me know if you have any further questions on this topic.

Folks, Our developers took a look at this one before the Esri UC and determined the root cause. We have a fix which is slated to be included in the first Pro 3.0 patch. The public-facing BUG number for this issue is BUG-000150564 apologies for the unexpected impediment - we've added this scenario and some like scenarios to our end-of-release test plan as well. This fix is slated to be included in 3.0.1 and any subsequent releases of ArcGIS Pro.

@WillyLynch2 I see what you're saying. For raster layers there is no "absolute" option. I tried a 3dd I had with a raster layer set to "floating" and 5000m offset. It ends up set to "on the ground" with a 5000m cartographic offset, which does result in equivalent rendering to ArcGlobe. Maybe we can work this one the opposite way.... Can you provide a repro case (a 3dd) for which there does not exist equivalent conversion in Pro? If needed I can provide ad-hoc FTP for you to transfer it, if it's too big to post as an attachment here. J

@WillyLynch2 maybe I'm having trouble understanding the use case. You need a layer placed at a static elevation (e.g. 30000 feet). This can be achieved by using absolute height mode with an expression set to 0 and a cartographic offset, OR by setting the expression to the static height you want to achieve.

@WillyLynch2 this is "Cartographic Offset" on the elevation layer properties page. It works in conjunction with all the other elevation modes. So to be equivalent with above you'd set it to "Absolute Height" and "a field" set to <Expression> (defaults to 0), and set "Cartographic Offset" to whatever you want the offset from 0 to be. Help here: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/mapping/layer-properties/define-height-characteristics-for-layers.htm

The AI format has been closed/proprietary for many years. What Desktop exports is a very old version of the AI format, and it has limitations even when it is "imported" into modern Illustrator. The AIX + Maps for Adobe workflow is the vendor-supported way for us to bring content from ArcGIS Pro into Adobe Illustrator, and my team and the Maps For Adobe team both spend a lot of time working on it at each release of Pro. @Alex_Blenkush @wayfaringrob If you are having UX or functionality challenges with AIX or the Maps For Adobe extension, please be sure to report them as bugs and include your repro cases/data at https://support.esri.com/en/report-bug so that the core Pro development team and the Maps for Adobe team can fix them in a future release.

Hi all, I have good news on this front! We addressed the issue with items outside of the data frame being included in the export (though hidden by a clipping mask) in upcoming ArcGIS Pro 3.0, and have some small enhancements to this already in the plan for the next release. We will take a look at the other reported issues and attempt to address them in a future release. I have a small request: In the future, these types of issues would be best reported as a BUG directly to Esri support at https://support.esri.com/en/report-bug. Even if it is a duplicate report, receiving the report increments the counter on the issue so we know firsthand how many users are impacted or impeded by a given issue. This helps greatly with prioritization of work as we plan each release.

FYI we found the root cause and were able to resolve it for the next release (3.0). I will link your reported bug to the development issue when it comes in so that it can be properly processed as resolved.

I've tried quite few variables here and still can't repro the problem. Would it be possible for you to send your repro case (for example a ppkx that contains a layout illustrating the probem) to https://support.esri.com/en/report-bug so we can start an investigation?

I assume from the picture that this is Integrated Mesh data? Can you provide the details and report it as a bug to https://support.esri.com/en/report-bug so it has a paper trail for teams to investigate.
